Id heard great things about Woodies diner and loving american food i thought i would try it out. Myself and 3 friends went on a wednesday afternoon 2 weeks ago. 3 of us had a milkshake which were lovely. We all then ordered the "Hummer" Burger which is a double cheese burger with bacon. It took quite a while for... More

Stopped here having passed it for several years ! It was good- actually pretty good! Kids meal was a straightforward burger - no mucking about with gherkins and the traditional burger adult version was fresh, tasty and filling! Portions are huge ( so don't order the doubles unless you are starving!!) kids meal (including divine brownie! & drink) under £7... More

Such a cool little place, feels like you've stepped back into Grease when you sit down. A cross between a 50's diner and a surf hangout it's definitely worth a try. The portion size is great to the point that I'm glad I didn't go for either the double or the triple burger as I was stuffed with just the... More

This was our second visit to Woodies and we thought we would return as we did not enjoy our first visit. Whilst there is a good choice on the menu of burgers, there is no hot dogs which you would except in a diner. The portion size was ok but the food was very average. The onion rings were very... More

Back to Woodies with the family after the weather took a dive - didn't fancy a burger so I tried the Chilli - must admit was expecting a pre-packed job - oh no this was amazing home cooked beef chilli - served in a sort of tortilla bowl with spicy wedges full of taste and flavour. Typical woodies size portion... More

We came for dessert but left with a bad taste in my mouth not only was my chocolate fudge cake below average but the service was the worst. Not only did I have to convince the manager I didn't like the cake but we were made to feel like criminals. NEVER again! !

Went for the first time last weekend for brunch. Breakfast stops being serviced at 12 noon but we managed to get there just before. Good range of options for breakfast. I had the burrito which was enormous. Very tasty though a little salty. Very good value for money I thought. Attentive & smiley staff.

After being told by several of my friends how much they love going here, I thought I'd give it a try. Well I clearly went on a bad day the first time as they were very busy. However, there's not really a good excuse for making someone wait 30 minutes before taking their drinks order. People were seated at tables... More

I went to Woodies on a Sunday lunchtime after the breakfast menu had finished. Myself, my dad and my boyfriend all ordered different burger meals. (Eldora do, TBird and Hickory with frings -fries and onion rings) The burgers are absolutely huge! Delicious and made with proper meat. The fries were standard but nothing special but the burger was what we... More
