Amazing!

If you are looking for authentic thai food, well this is the place! The "restaurant" is at the back of the shop, very poor and basic decorated, simple menu choices, but don't judge the place if you haven't first eaten...perhaps the best thai i have ever had in west/east sussex... a real gem!

Please do not go to UniThai! No other Thai food will ever taste good. You will wander disappointed and sad. Every time someone says 'Thai food?' you will have a vision of UniThai, your mouth will water and then you will wake up and realise you are stuck with a second rate alternative. Genuine warning! Once you have eaten here,... More

I had walked past Unithai a number of times and thought it was only a supermarket. I stopped in one day to get some ingredients and noticed that it has a little restaurant in the back. As a fan of Thai food I thought I would give it a whirl, Im glad I did. When you have tasted authentic food... More

If you want to experience authentic Thai food at lunchtime in Hove then this is the place to go. It's usually rammed as there's only a few tables and service is slow as the kitchen is so small as I think there's only the one chef and the one cooker. The lady owner who serves you certainly won't win any... More

Not many people know about this little gem. It's hidden in the back of the actual shop. There's seating for around 22 people on different sized tables and old fashioned chairs. You can't book and you have to get there early to avoid waiting on weekends, but the food is second to none. There is no booze licence but you... More

You could walk right by this place. It is a shop selling Thai food at the front with a wonderful restaurant at the back. It is small so you might have to wait for a table and the food is freshly cooked so you might have to wait for that but it is well worth it. I had Vermicellli Singapore... More

Real Thai food, simple basic menu, but that's all you need when the dishes are so good. The place is small, joined onto a oriental Thai market.

Finally real Thai food in Brighton and Hove ! Unithai is truly unique when it comes to taste and food. Unlike many other venues in brighton, their food is not commercial and it tastes the same way that it does in Thailand. We were lucky enough to travel around thailand and try local cousine (not the tourist stuff) and unithai... More

I visited this little Thai Cafe on on a recommendation and I was not disappointed. The little seating area was full when I arrived, so I sat at the back of the shop at a long table where one other person was enjoying his meal. I must admit I do not have a clue about the Thai names, so an... More

Without a doubt, this has got to be the best Thai food outside of Thailand!! Authentic, fresh ingredients served in a simple yet friendly environment - the Penang Curry is to die for... We will DEFINITELY be back!!!
