Very nice meal

I was part of a group of five, and all of us enjoyed our meal here. We had 5 good size starters, and 5 delicious main courses, along with the obligatory poppadoms and pickles, and a few drinks. The bill came in at around £130, which we thought was very reasonable. The staff were all very friendly... read more

It isn't the worst place in Hove to have a curry but it isn't quite mixing it with the best Pleasant but unexciting food. The dining room layout feels wrong for some reason. You will get efficient service. It is fairly priced.

Packed on Saturday for a meal that was at best three pot cooking and at worst burnt in parts. Am I missing something here? The punters poured in but were we alone in our disappointment? Greasy poppadums; blunt over chillied mains; vegetable course bland to the point of tasteless, save for the burnt all pervading garlic. It was like a... More

Ate here Sunday evening. The meal was delicious. Great service, ampul servings and a very good price. Was also given a complimentary drink with the bill. Nice touch. Will definately eat there again. Thanks Indiana.

Having used the Indiana for many years, and it being our favourite Indian in Hove, we were unfortunately disappointed with our recent visit. It was not very busy on a Friday evening and there were lots of waiters. Despite this, we were hurried in and out in well under 45 minutes. The food was not up to its usual standard... More

The service is very friendly and the food is good, sometimes excellent. A safe bet if you don't want to stray too far.

We stopped off here after a gig on a Friday and can happily report that both the food and service are excellent. If you like your food spicy, do not hesitate to order from the Medium section on the menu.

Every few months I visit Indiana with a group of friends; the food quality has never disappointed, nor the friendliness of the staff. The prices are by no means unreasonable, and the menu is sufficiently varied to suit all tastes. A recent visit was as good as always. Highly recommended.

we went after 11pm on Friday night. The service was extremely quick and the food very good: my wife really enjoyed her prawn dhansak. My king prawn shaslik had loads of prawns acoompanied by peppers and onions and arrived sizzling. The décor is modern if a bit uninspired.
