We went there with our group, the organisers favourite. I had a drink first as arrived early...I was not greeted with a smile....and near the bar flies were all over a table. However, the seating area was lovely, lots of space for our large group. I ordered the starter which was bread and butter. The bread was lovely, but maybe... More

Great place for Sunday lunch, friendly staff, good service a varied menu suitable for vegetarians and meat eaters - lots of yummy veg too - the desert menu looked really good - but I was too full from lunch to try one !!!

We had the BBQ chicken kebabs with an assortment of salads for £6.50 great value and beatifully cooked. Good service great choice of beers and wines highly recommend. We ate in the Garden which is the place to be on a sunny day.

Highly recommended. Interesting and varied menu to suit carnivores and vegetarians. Delicious food, well presented and fabulous service from our cheeky waiter!

Went to done with my family, all very good but a little confused by the decor, Grubby Grunge meets the Neighbourhood - ? The food served was very tasty, my son's steak was excellent my wife and I went for fish that was also fresh and well cooked, just short of an excellent rating though. Wine selection a little weak.

The restaurant / pub, is lively ,friendly, and good service, but that's where it stops. The food is extremely expensive and very poor quality.the wine list is excellent but once again, well over priced, similar bottles in good class restaurants, are around £4 to £5 cheaper. If your looking for just a drink it's ok, for food forget it, overpriced,... More

We found this pub through the listing in the Sawday's pub app (recommended!) and were not disappointed. Hidden away in the back streets of Hove, the food and drinks were excellent, as was the very pleasant service!

From reading the food menu (and the prices) you'd assume the meals would be of a reasonably high standard. I chose the ribeye steak, priced at £20 and requested it rare - it arrived well done. I got it sent back, during which the manager tried to imply that in the kitchen light, the steak was indeed pink in the... More

It may just have been an off night but the food was really a let down. Flavourless and nuclear heat on the wild garlic soup and pork as a maincourse was lacking flavour and overcooked. Shame because this is such a great place but food had gone down hill since I last ate here which to be fair was about... More
