Some friends came down to stay and we looked up what's on in Brighton and hove and found that there was live singing at the Bali. We decided to book... read more

Still my favourite restaurant even though we now live in Lincolnshire! Always my first choice for birthdays etc...and worth the long trip which we combine with a stay over somewhere or visit relatives. The flavours are unique and the food always excellent, nineteen dishes with starters and dessert are included in the Rijstaffel buffet. Service is very good too, nice... More

Saturday night so I had booked; just as well as it was packed when I left. Great staff; attentive but not pushy. Did not have the buffet although it looked tempting. I had the Somai Goreng a type of steamed dumpling a bit like Won Ton. Delicious! Main course was Kari Udang a medium hot King Prawn dish. Fantastic-just the... More

I've been to the Bali Brasserie with family and friends numerous times now and the food is absolutely incredible. It's by far one of my favourite restaurants in Hove for it's authenticity and service. A hidden gem not a lot of people know about too which makes it all the better as you aren't rushed out straight after dessert (like... More

Booked a table prior to visiting the area and chose the Bali Brasserie from surfing through what was around. It's off the beaten track, however we found it and really enjoyed our stay. The meal was really nice and there was a very good selection of food and drinks on the menus. Aware of the entertainment that night, we finished... More

Visited on a cold midweek evening in January. Inside we got a warm welcome from friendly, efficient staff. We'd booked a table and were lucky to be seated in a comfortable booth in the bar with an excellent view of the cabaret. Good value 3 course eat as much as you like buffet meal of Indonesian food. Plenty of choice,... More

The staff were very welcoming, although the food was rather mediocre. Unfortunately the cabaret act was extremely loud and left me with ringing in the ears. If you have sensitive hearing or are taking children then ear protectors are called for!

We have been going to the Bali Brasserie on and off for many years, and usually choose the buffet, but I think this was the first time we have eaten lunch from the bar menu.

I come here with my girlfriend on a regular basis maybe once every fortnight and it never fails to impress us. The food is tasty even better that they do a deal starter and a main course £9.95. the staff are friendly and attentive and not to mention the decor!! I highly recommend.

Having had an excellent Xmas party and Xmas Day lunch at the Bali last year we chose to do the same year this year and were not disappointed. Once again everything was superb. The food is simply outstanding, the atmosphere welcoming but what really stands out is the personalised service and attention. The term excellent really does not do the... More
