Lovely food and very friendly

This was our second visit and this time it was much busier, on a saturday night. The rice table was served on a buffet with two starters and pudding to your table. Again, the food was lovely and some great flavours. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Yes, the bar you... read more

While visiting friends in Brighton we celebrated our wedding anniversary and asked them to join us for dinner. We asked them to choose restaurant. We parked and I immediately wondered why we were entering a small block of flats. We went along a corridor and through some doors and entered such a pleasant tropical bar area. A friendly member of... More

I went to the Bali as part of a business club. Food did not live up to mouthwatering website descriptions. Slightly-canteenlike quality buffet with no starters or desserts (despite the dessert spoons on our tables) or even bread items such as chapatties, popadums or naans, only polystyrene-like prawn crackers. No teas or coffees (except on request) afterwards either. Of course... More

Highly recommend this establishment. Excellent quality food at affordable prices. Friendly family atmosphere - nothing too much trouble. We have eaten here on several occasions at lunchtime and never been disappointed.

We had booked a table at Bali Brasserie without knowing much about it and having had a look at the Tripadvisor reviews I have to say that I was slightly worried that we would be set for a trip back to the 80's. The restaurant is located a little oddly by UK standards, in the bottom of an apartment block,... More

I had opportunity to go here a few times and every time was as good as the first. Jasper owners son very friendly. Quiet pace across the road from the beach. Wine delightful the food so very tasty. I have had the nasi goring with the veg and corn soup. They do a 2 course meal for around 9 pounds.... More

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent bar meal alongside local karaoke night. The food was very tasty, chicken sate and nasi goreng for £8.95 great value. Didn't go in the main restaurant but it looked very nice.

Food was quite good but it's feels a little dated in the resturant. There was all the usual choices. The cobra was a little flat and tasted a bit watery.

Been coming here nearly 25 years. The decor may occasionally change but what doesn't is the fantastic food, fantastic friendly service and great value. Located in the rear of a block of flats is a locals secret. Give it a try. Indonesian cuisine with a smile ...

We have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years, probably visiting once or twice a year. The food is always good as it is an all-you-can-eat. The rice table is priced at £19.95 and consists of prawn crackers with a spicy sauce, then chicken satay, then soup, then 6 dishes, plus rice and a noodle dish. They will... More
