It is at a the main road from Voorschoten to Leiden. Public parking is available. The waitress was not very good with Dutch, English was a bitt beter. But my Italian sucks. Nevertheless. Actually there is no choice or menu. You eat what you get. And that is explained by the waitress. The food is in the good amount, but... More

Very warm staff and competent. Also you get special dishes outside normal menu at no extra cost. Very typical Sicilian cuisine with ingredients directly imported by the restaurant. Also very good wine .

Definitely one of the best (if not THE best) Italian restaurant we've ever gone to. You have the option of having a table d'hôte menu with a variety of "tapas"-like servings or you can have something off their menu of the day. We went for the table d'hôte and each of us had something to enjoy. It was a special... More

Ever since it first opened a few years ago, it has never let me down. It is, in my 8-year experience in the country as an Italian expat, the best to be found around, closely competing with some of the best places I know back home. On top of the excellent food, albeit sometimes pricey, is an atmosphere so special... More

Wow! On my first trip to the Netherlands I was taken to this beautiful restaurant. The people I were staying with have been there many times and are well known by the owners. I have a absolute love for Italian food and this was something else completely. You can tell they only use the best food possible, the tastes are... More

Made one visit to the restaurant,(after hearing from a friend that it was good) found the food very average and way over priced, the waiter was not very attentive, plates not very full and as said previously, pasta dish was very average, nothing worse than some irritating guy playing a guitar while youre trying to eat your meal, will not... Run by a former head waiter from Fratelli''s. Lots of Italian style and enthusiasm. We went for a quick early dinner, and asked for pizzas, which they were cooking and which looked good. But were told we couldn't have one. They are only for delivery, not for eating in the restaurant! We had an average quality pasta dish instead, but... More

I took my hosts to dinner here. A first experience for all of us. We walked from their home and found a cozy spot in the back corner of this small, local restaurant. The kitchen is behind the bar as you walk in and they create amazing dishes from this small spot. The waiter explains what is being served that... More

very good food. Good portions. The staff explains the days choices at the table. If you can tell a good Italian restaurant by the espreso they serve, this the best!
