We were here with my brother and his family. When everything go as planned, the service is very good. However, it pulls down that they do not satisfactory compensate when the waiter unfortunately overturn a beer on me. (accidents happen, but should be compensated) It also pulls down that the payment terminal "MALFUNCTION" when we want to pay. They would... More

We've had quite a few meals here now, mostly lunches. For a family with kids, the menu is great, especially the pancakes and the small pancakes, 'pofertjes'. The salads are great, although the baked potatoes haven't been all that good. Its a good place for lunches and dinner with kids. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. They should refresh their menu... "It’s a Small World" belongs to that tiny universe of eateries that boast slow, arrogant service and uninspiring, nondescript food at inflated prices. It calls itself a “restaurant”. But then, Mc-What’s-Its-Name’s does too. It panders to the unsophisticated Hans and Grietje, ex-pat or traveller, from The Netherlands. The Netherlands – renowned for its plastic cheeses and chemical beers. We are... More

Service was very slow, and food tasty, but nothing special. Topped off by being chastised by the waitress, in front of my friends and hosts at our table, for not thoroughly cleaning their toilet after use! Quite beyond belief. Did they expect me to clean the dishes as well?

I like the interior and the terrace. I've had dinner here 2 times now in about 3 years, and will not go again. The food is average at best and the menu seemed to have less items than the last time we went. I understand that most places that have a cheap salad or cocktail with 'crab' use the imitation... More

I have been using Small World for years. A quirky little place overlooking the cricket/driving range. What a pirate has to do with everything is beyond me, but nonetheless, a friendly welcoming place. The Salads are simply wonderful. Try the goats cheese/chicken one. It is as if they put in anything that is in season at the time, fruit, nuts... More

Try the Tagliatelle Corleone or the chicken salad. And the hurge pancakes is perfect for the kids. Enjoy!!

We had prebooked as we were as we were a group of almost 30 people. We also had to pre-order our meals including desserts at the same time, even then the kitchen was obviously unable to deal with a largish group!Service was willing, but incredibly slow, giving the impression of sweet but inept amateurs.A lot of people in my group raved about the...
