Definitely overpriced , too pretentious... Also the attitude of the owner was that way and I'd say he was almost rude at some point when we told him we had a free dinner coupon for 2, as we were 4 but OF COURSE, two of us were going to pay their part but he didn't seem to like the idea...... More

Went to La Canasta to have a decent meal, but got very dissapointed. The food was more or less avarage, and the prices was like 5 times higher than retaurants in the same area. Will not go the again

Owner Miguel Yepes opened in 1976. Well-established in the area, has a large staff capable of dealing with its large amount of activity. The rooms of a marine style demonstrate the trend of its extensive menu Miguels son Christian works there and they have all the Spanish dishes one needs, fried green peepers all kinds of seafood including clams lobster... Very personal level of service, lead by the owner Miguel Yepes. The restaurant is set out in a very marine theme, very comfortable, nice wines, and good quality food. Its a little bit pricey.....but the food is good. Judge for yourself.....at the very least you will enjoy seeing the owner in action....

While staying in Castelldefels for Mobile World Congress, my work team got reeled in by the billboard. I had my doubts from the beginning. Way overpriced for basic Spanish cuisine. I really don't understand what you're paying for at this restaurant--maybe the billboard? Lobster and avocado salad, for instance, was so skimpy and weakly prepared that I laughed at the... More

Definetely overpriced , pretending to be an upscale venue while the staff is not trained to the task. Questionable hygenic practices. My wife got sick.

I had 3 thin grilled lamb chops, a handful of chips and a grilled tomato for 22.50€. No sauce, no dressing, no garnish. Very very ordinary and way overpriced. My wife's fish dish, priced at 23.50€ was similarly uninspiring and overpriced. With entrees and one bottle of run of the mill wine, the bill came to 119.50€. They even charged... More

July 16 2011 - wife and I ate here for lunch. Reservation required. It´s said to be the "best" restaurant in Castelldefels for quality and freshness of the food and I give that statement two thumbs up!!! Overall experience: delicious and exquisite, does not disappoint. The owner of the restaurant serves you and provides a down to earth personal, and... More
