We were recommended this restaurant from our travel company but honestly I wouldn't recommend it. The situation is very pretty, right on the bay overlooking the water but some of the staff were absolutely horrible, in particular what seemed to be the manager. Extremely slow in acknowledging you, never once smiled or greeted you, looked over your shoulder with a... More

We have visited Tamariu many times over the last few years and it is a lovely spot with a row of restaurants overlooking the beach and the bay. A great location for lunch. As our 'usual' restaurant was full outside, we decided to go to La Morera , which our friends had been to on a number of occasions and... More

We had the salmon tartar to share as a starter (really nice but not served with toast) and an arroz a la cassola as main course and also shared the dessert. Our 3 year old son had a plain burger (they charge 1€ for ketchup!). All the food was fine, but the service was quite slow and it was quite... More

We ate here on our final night. The setting, as with most of the Tamariu restaurants, is wonderful overlooking the sea and the promenading holidaymakers. The service was good too (although we were the first into the restaurant and it was very quiet. Food was OK, but nothing special.

One of the better places in this lovely unspoilt fishing village. Have been coming here for 50 years so know it well. Sometimes the service is very good. Sometimes it is not. Similarly, the food can be variable. When at its best, unbeatable. Good service easy to achieve with a little effort. Food consistency just requires more effort. Maybe don't... More

I spent a whole day in Tamariu enjoying their beaches. As we wanted to enjoy a good lunch we choose this restaurant. I have to recommend their fideua, more than good, excellent. Their location is near the sea, so you can enjoy if you want of very good scenaries.

Can you imagine being asked "we want to make a reservation for a party of 40 for a lunch this Saturday". A small beach inlet like many on the Costa Brava, with a few restaurants to serve the beach goers and tourists...and of course the party of 40 or so, largely British expats living along the coastline of Catalunya. For... More
