We've stayed near Teguise six times and mostly visited Palacio del Marques for tapas. Last time it was closed so we went to La Cantina. It's a nice place with a youthfull and nice staff. The tapas were not bad but nothing special either. Maybe we try another dish next time and give an update because we are coming back... More

Had our annual lunch here this time with family including 2 small children. Had seafood and meat platters for the adults and chicken wings and burger for children. All excellent. Highly recommend.

We went to Teguise Sunday market and stopped at La Cantina for lunch. What a lovely place! Very cosy feeling inside and staff welcoming and helpful. We shared a Tabla Canaria and a large salad between the 2 of us and our son chose some pasta. Everything was fresh and tasty and the local white wine was gorgeous. We had... More

This restaurant has found a niche market in Teguise. There are a number of very good eateries but La Cantina provides a different eating experience.mthe food is excellent but the quirky nature with the many facets of eating and drinking make it slightly unique. Well worth a visit and although reservation is advisable dependent on the day it is large... More

Have been here a number of times and always had a great experience. This time it was sunday lunch after market and we had a group of 14. We bookek on arriving at market and returned to find a table ready for us in the secret garden. Along with the excellent food and service there is live music in afternoon.... More

la cantina is in old Teguise. It's about a 20 min taxi ride from Teguise playa. We had the platos which are a selection of meats cheeses breads etc presented on a wooden board. There are 5 different versions to choose from. It tasted divine. A glass or two of wonderful wine washed it all down. Fantastic coffees to finish.... More

Dropped in for lunch and had a great experience. This place serves up fabulous tapas, great wines, tea and coffee. The food is just brilliant, can't recommend it highly enough, it also has a great atmosphere as well. The prices are also good too, it won't break the bank to eat there, we had a table full of food, drinks... More

We landed to this place thinking it was a bar and that we were having only a drink. Thanks to a reservation that was cancelled we were able to extend the drink to a full meal, and it was sooo good! The menu had plenty of choice even for vegetarians and for people allergic to gluten, the wine (once again... More
