We recently came to Playa Blanca for my mums 60th Birthday, staying in a villa 5 minutes away from Le Moka with 14 of us in total. We needed an extra special cake for the big day and we were not disappointed by the cake that Dave made. We went for the extra large cake due to the size of... More

There is a secret in making perfect croissants! This was confidentially explained to me by the very efficient proprietor of this patisserie some time back. I will not divulge the details, but it has to do with how you allow the cooked croissants to cool down from the oven. Its so simple really - if you know this, you end... More

We get our croissants every morning from La Moka and they are the best we've had-better than the ones in France! We also got their fig and walnut bread and it is delicious. Thanks!

Have been to Faro Park on many occasions and never called in here. I had a jacket potato with goats cheese and smoked salmon, my favorite combinations. Added a portion of coleslaw was very nice and again very friendly. Shall definitely return. Had a quick look in the counter and the cakes looked delicious as well as the bread.

We decided to have a quick breakfast so choose La Moka. The breakfast, full english and the cheese on toast were plentiful and well priced however the speed of service was very poor. We waited about 45 minutes from sitting down to getting food on the table. The teas and coffees were delivered and drank about 20 minutes before the... More

My wife and I went here during our stay in Playa Blanca from 15-22 November and this place appeared to be closed. We went there planning to have lunch and were shocked. My wife saw a sign saying it had been taken over and was now an estate agent's office. The Lighthouse next door also seemed not to be open,... More

Dave serves a delightful full breakfast, but then trumps this with a selection of home made cakes and bakery products, including made to order Birthday Cakes
