Eating experience

Cheap and cheerful, good food served quickly in a restaurant away from the sea front but recommended for price, choice and quality. Ambience of the redstart ant brought to the forefront through cooking meat in the middle of the seating area.

Went here after reading reviews loved it. Hubby and daughter love their steak-I loved paella which we ordered for me but shared after their meal! lol. Wonderful meal. Should have eaten here for 7 nights but did three at least! Recommend you go! #beststeakEVER

This restaurant is on the main road behind the seafront, great choice of dishes and more reasonably priced than those on the seafront. The first time went we had then paella which was so good. All the food is freshly prepared and on the second time we visited we sat inside and there you can watch the chef grill, prepare... More

We ate here twice. Very good mixed grill and steaks. As this is off the promenade you get your value for money. The waiters are very friendly. They get busy later on so go out early. Highly recommend!

We were recommended to this restaurant but did not find the service either efficient or particularly friendly. Although we don't have big appetites by any means, the portions were very small.

Went here after reading good reviews on here! When we arrived we where shoved in a corner, as most tables where reserved, we both ordered a flambé fillet steak, mine with Diane sauce, we waited around 20mins, ordered a glass of wine and a beer, which was flat, service was rushed, and staff where miserable! Steak came on what I... More

Restaurant above the average in this area (full of small, cheap restaurants where quality is good but they all serve more or less the same dishes). It is well worth the money, we have eaten there three times eating both Fish and Meat, bot very good. They also are good with small children. Cherne was really good

This is an excellent restaurant offering a wide ranging menu of Spanish food with a particular emphasis on flambé and grilled meats. The service is both friendly and efficient. It offers great value for money and is well worth a visit.

nice welcome and attentive staff, my steak was good but my wife asked what the gush of the day was and they said Sea Bass. Well, what arrived was not Sea Bass, I think it was a Cherne, anyway , she said it was a bit tasteless and full of bones. Could have been better
