Quiet location, good value

This just about the last restaurant in the marina area so it's bit quieter than the others, good menu, prompt service with competitive prices.

We read the good reviews here on Tripadvisor and we were quite keen to try this restaurant on our recent stay in Playa Blanca. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, so we chose to sit outside and menus were brought to us. A few minutes later, large party arrived who had obviously pre-booked, and they were seated near to... More

Very reasonably priced, extremely friendly staff and tasty food with marina-side location. We stopped for a lunchtime snack and were very happy with our choice from the many bars etc on offer

Had dinner here on our last night of our stay. Service was superb, attentive without being 'in your face'. Wine was always poured for us. We had house red, bottle of water, crab and home made croquettes to start followed by two dressed and de-boned suckling pigs....all tasted superb. Cost was about 65 euro's. We will definitely return and I... More

What a pleasant surprise, located at the very end of the marina, we decided to try this place and wow it was great, and offered things that were a bit different to the normal run of the mill, the crab special was lovely and the prepared suckling pig that had been roomed from the bone and served with fresh vegetables... This restaurant is tucked away at the Rubicon development. Essentially a bar/cafe, it has a good atmosphere and good food served in substantial helpings. My whole squid was amazing. If the weather is poor, make sure you have a table away from the door as it can be draughty. This is somewhere to get a good meal at a very... More

We visited twice during our recent stay and enjoyed both occasions. Very friendly and efficient service and good food. The french onion soup in particular was excellent. The last restaurant you come to on the front before the main breakwater.

Such a lovely restaurant really takes some beating. Have eaten there many many times. Always busy which speaks for itself. The warmest of welcomes from Marcus & Monica [and Mrs Marcus] who all work so hard. Varied menu with daily specials - if swordfish is on then go for that just out of this world. Crepes are a speciality here... More

A number of guests at our hotel had told us how good the Petite Marmite was so we tried it a lunch time for a snack and a drink that were good. For our last night we booked an inside table for dinner. We had French onion soup, roast suckling pig and crepe suzette all washed down by a nice... More
