Still one of the very best

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining three times with Jose and Roman at their excellent retaurant just after New Year. At New Year the atmosphere was brilliant - we popped in for a late night-cap after a meal elsewhere (it was booked solid so we couldn't get in to eat on the night). We... read more

We have been to the Chalanita many times over the years and it is still very very good The staff are very friendly and are the same people over many years. Food is great particularly the flambé. Make sure you leave enough room for the afters

Prawn salmon and avocado salad followed by a lobster pot. It was just delicious and the staff were full of life. Highly recommend

We dined here one night on our holiday having eaten here in the past. It was just as good, actually it was delicious. I had the Duck Confit with fig sauce and could have eaten more.... It was so good. This restaurant offers great quality food and superb service. It's worth paying a bit more for. Even if you just... More

Window table with view of the harbour. The menu is comprehensive with a decent wine list. There are two entrances - one via stairs from the coast walkway and a more accessible entrance from street level behind Casa Pedro. We glad a wonderful meal with a fine local wine. My Fillet Steak was cooked to perfection and was "melt in... More

The restaurant is very good. The food is well served and very, very, very tasty! The seafood was excellent and well cooked, we also tried the vegetarian dishes and we can strongly advise the rise with the asparagus and pineapple. A place to go when you visit Lanzarote. The view is priceless

The restaurant states air conditioning which was not working ! The waiter service was poor and the food was bland in the extreme? Quite frankly the place needs a great shake. Very disappointed left my meal and not asked why!

La Chalanita offers a slightly more refined dining experience and is the only restaurant along the front we would recommend. Situated almost above Casa Pedro near the town beach, it's window tables command wonderful seaviews across to Fuerteventura. Tonight we had onion soup and special farm eggs with iberico ham to start. Then for mains, we enjoyed iberico pork fillet... More

The food is always lovely here and the staff welcoming. The only slight issue is that you have to pay for bread and you're not informed of this beforehand. However, this wouldn't prevent us from returning. Recommended.

Visited this restaurant several times now as a family and also just the two of us. Always have had excellent food and service. Worth booking in advance. It's not cheap but you really do get what you pay for! Highly recommended
