What is the main reason you go to a restaurant? For the food not necessarily for the service. In this case the service was excellent the food overall was a disgrace. They really need to get a new chef. The prawn cocktail had a weird tasting fizzy citrus sauce. The carpaccio was waterlogged and utterly tasteless, the fillet steak kebab... More

Perhaps in the summer this would be a good spot but in January the place was cold. We had steak which was not cooked as requested and also became cold rather quickly - however they did provide a hot stone for us to put the steak on which had the effect of cooking the steak even more. Over-priced and slow... More

We have been here a number if times now. It rates highly as one of the best restaurants in PB. Fantastic service and staff, always a great atmosphere whatever the weather and of course good food. Pre starters are tasty, usually a small glass of hot soup and a savoury like a ham croquette. I love the tempura type squid... More

Good food. We ate on our first night. Closest to Volcan Hotel. Able to charge the bill to our room account

2nd visit to this restaurant and it is just lovely, took our children on the 2nd trip and they loved it as much as we did, had the stone cooked steak and children had sirloin steak off the kids menu, very happy all round and will definitely be back.

We have been going to Playa Blanca for 25 years & had over 100 meals out, this one the worst. It started badly, we wanted lamb chops from the menu but when the waiter came to take our order he said they were not available . Also the chicken was off the menu. My wife chose fresh fish of the... We went twice: the first we shared a chateaubriand which was excellent and inexpensive. Five stars all round. The second time , two days later, and not as good. My cod loin was drowned in cheese and lacked a lot. three stars. Morale: pick a good night and stick to the chateaubriand

Looked at all of the menu's for the restaurants in the Marina before deciding on this one. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great wine recommendation - lovely local volcanic red. We both had one of the specials, octopus starter and turbot main. Both delicious. My boyfriend had the T bone steak which is the best steak we've experienced abroad... More

Walked into Rubicon Marina and looked at a few restaurants. Chose this as it looked very nice. Quite posh! First of all the menu I was given had a missing page, not deadly fault. I ordered the monkfish and prawn kebab. My other half went for lamb chops but was told there were none, next choice was chicken stuffed with... More
