Lovely to sit outside and enjoy a drink and people watch. Lovely gin and tonics although strong and needed two tonics. Food looked very good too and excellent service.

After visiting two years ago, we returned without disappointment. The food, service and price had not altered much and were all to an excellent standard. Limited opening times but well worth the wait. Compared to other restaurants in the resort I would say this is one of the best. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and not rushed. Compliments to the owners.

Service and food excellent, site not brilliant and opening days limited but well worth a visit if you want something special for an event.

I had eaten here before so was looking forward to going and it didn't disappoint. From the moment Annabel greeted us to the moment we left it was a lovely evening. The leek pie was one of the best starters I've ever had. Watch out as it only opens Monday and Wednesday evenings. We'll worth a visit.

We visit Playa Blanca twice a year and always eat here twice. It is an experience - the decor, and especially the toilets (think The Tardis) are wacky. The food is great, depending on what you are looking for. The negative reviews on here tend to be on the basis of high prices for smallish portions. If what you want... More

We have been to Playa Blanca several times over many years and have watched it change. Like most visitors we have eaten in the hotels, at restaurants on the main street, around the marina and along the sea front but this restaurant is a hidden jewel. Not easy to find but only a few minutes walk inland from the Marina... More

Food very good and our service was fine, neither too slow or too rushed as some reviewers have implied. However I expected some innovation from a restaurant of that standard and the limited menu was virtually unchanged from the previous year. Also the chef or his assistant was rather heavy handed with the salt. I know that lmany people like... More

We have been here two or three times now and the food is undeniably wonderful. The guy is a culinary genius. Every mouthful is divine. But... The service is SO slow! It's almost comical. Almost... Let me say quickly that there is no fault of attitude. The main lady is absolutely charming; smiling and welcoming and cheerful throughout. It's just... More

Having visited twice and really enjoyed both meals on our last visit to Playa Blanca, we booked again for our latest visit. Although the food was still very good, the whole experience was incredibly rushed. Prices have certainly increased and we felt that portion sizes have decreased, but food was still high quality. We did say to the owner that... More
