Enjoyed a lovely holiday in Cala'n Porter. This small town is perfect for a quiet family beach holiday. The city of Mahon was surprising, really good for a day out - huge harbour, interesting history and nice cafes & shops. Menorca was sunny and warm in July, but there's usually a breeze and low humidity. So you can tan without... More

Loved Menorca because it's the opposite of Majorca, no rowdy bars or over commercialized towns. ( well I didn't see any anyway) The people were friendly , atmosphere very relaxing and felt safe. Also very pretty scenery, quite lush greenery and lots of trees. Mahon has some nice shops and has some pretty traditional buildings, the harbor area was great.

Great little mediteranean island particularly pleasant in October and with the addition of the lack of ful season visitors makes this a restful retreat to end the holiday season. Many fine attractions and as this year very good late summer weather makes this a fine location for a quiet rest.

The last time I was on this Island was over 40 years ago. I've always wanted to return but was afraid it would not hold up to the first visit. Although many towns have expanded, the island. so much is still the same. I was so pleased that Cala n Porter still has that relaxed feeling. Driving on the Island... More

We hate long flights, so this suited us perfectly. We stayed in the Playa Azul hotel in Cala 'n Porter. Beach is gorgeous and only 181 steps down ! Nightlife just right. Great for couples, and young families. Not lively enough for 18-30 types, and long may it stay that way. We will definitely be going back.

In capital of Menorca Mahon, there are plenty of beautiful places to go and enjoy the seafood. Or if you fancy burger and chips, let it be!

Great place for a relaxing holiday, especially if you have a young family. A limited number of hotels, but mostly self catering villas and apartments. The coastline is spectacular, with lots of tiny inlets and safe sandy beaches. If you want to go clubbing go to Mallorca instead.

A wonderful, relaxing place for a holiday! Menorca is very big on eco-tourism and no more hotels can be built. Hopefully that will keep the island unspoiled. The island has plenty of green vegetation even in mid-summer, and there are miles and miles of drystone walls. The beaches on the south coast are mostly delightful coves, little bites out of... More
