Great Fun

Been coming here since 1998 and still love it. Lunch on Sunday with the locals is fantastic. They always allow our little dachshund in and the lenguado, lubina, dorada and gambas are excellent.

From our first visit here for Saturday lunch at the end of November, there are many good things to say about this top tier restaurant on the Fontanilla beach. The first is the use of local produce. Both our olive oil for our bread, and our bottle of wine, were from the local organic producer, Sancha Perez. A most welcome... More

We had a lovely lunch, Sea bass fillets, Sardines and Paella. Delicious. You may be wise to book a table as the restaurant became very busy at lunchtime.

Our friends knew the place and reserved a table right overlooking the beach. Beautiful location. We tasted a good selection of tapas, which we shared, followed by the some of the best tuna (selection of 3 or 4 different preparations) I ever had. Nice wine selection too.

We ended up here on a Wedenesday evening after previous choices were found to be closed. It was heaving with tourists and felt very different from our previous experiences of eating in Conil which were far more relaxed The atmosphere was not helped by an accordion player which made the atmosphere more akin to a German Bier Keller rather than... We had a great dining experience at Francisco La Fontanilla. A lively beach-side restaurant which was buzzing with relaxed holiday makers. We ate delectable red tuna carpaccio, a beautifully presented tuna sashimi and shrimp fritters which tasted like grandma had made them. My young daughter had a steak which they willingly reduced to a half portion for her, it was... More

A great setting but disappointing. Staff rushed off their feet. Very noisy. A lot of kids. Bottle of water thrown on the table to us as was our bottle of wine. Had the paella for 2 which was okay but dried up and not much seafood. The grilled fish dishes in the restaurant looked good so obviously this is the... More

Nice place to eat fish, especially tuna in all types (raw, rare, etc.). The service is excellent and the relation quality/price it is very good. For the second year, we have been there and always leave with a good impression of this restaurant.
