Pittoresque. A LOT of food, and very good and tasteful. God ServingCrew and well worth the price.... in the middle of nowhere....Use a GPS and go for it! If you are a FOOD-Lover... Go there...!

My father was born here and I'd never think that Folgosinhp would cater world-class gastronomy... But they do, in their own way. Albertino's mother owned a Taberna so the family has roots in the business, but Albertino grew it to a whole different level. He serves probably over 1000 meals on a Saturday. Now let me tell you how it... More

I don't even know where to start this review. I guess the proper word is pittoresque. It is an experience that every tourist should have. All you can eat, and I mean it, for 16 euro. Wine and dessert included. Four types of meat, all Portuguese country style, and sausages and cheese and, wow... Not exactly sophisticated and you will... More

My family is from this town and every time I come through i always have to eat at O Albertino. The food is fantastic and there wont be any let downs. The place is always packed. If you're in the area it's worth it. There are also small souvenir shops in town and a castle than anyone can visit. I... More

It's a traditional & slow food concept, for a all you can eat sistem. From far, it's a very good relation between price and quality. At weekends could be too crowded, so if you have the time go to this restaurant at working days you will get the same quality with an outstanding service. At the end, you will eat... More

that was our first encounter with authentic Portuguese cuisine and it coudnt be any better. Firstly restaurant is located in a beautiful village of Folgosinho with stone houses and narrow streets worth visit alone. and then of course the food, simple but very very tasty (goat was amazingly soft and spiced), solid portions. We have also met the owner Mr... More

This restaurant is famous in the area and comes very well recommended. It is a beautiful drive through the mountains to get to the small village of Folgosinho, with its fountains and picturesque houses. The restaurant was already packed when we arrived and since we didn't make any reservations we had to wait a while to be seated. The restaurant... More

One of the best restaurants I've ever visited!! The food is tradicional and outstandingly well made. The portions are big and the quality is unquestionable. Price it's amazing, 15€ per person, all included (wine, desert, water, coffee and the meal) Definitely one place to try if you are in the region

15€ and you can eat and drink all you want? Not impossible in "O Albertino", where you find the finest dishes of typical food of Beira Alta. So, why is the rating only "Very Good" and not "Excellent"? It's a small restaurant that, for bigger groups, needs an anticipated reservation (sometimes around a month!) and the food is not perfectly... More
