My parent ordered off the set menu whilst I ordered my starter and main separately. My starter came out but my partners didn't for a further 10 mins. So we didn't eat these together. The mains came together, which I ordered peri peri chicken but there was no spice to it at all, it was also dry and completely disappointing.... More

Safari has been a firm favourite of mine for over two decades since I started going there with my family as a child and it's now our tradition to go there on our first night in the Algarve. The tables on the patio offer superb views over the Praia do Rocha beach and the comings and goings of boats from... More

We have been to this restaurant several times over nearly 20 years. There is a long time tradition of lovely stews etc in terracotta pots, among many various other dishes, and the level of service is high as always. Nice atmosphere, would recommend for a good (great) Portuguese meal.

The waiter here are really good with the guests. They are helpful and funny! Food was really good, the menu was like in the most places but with a twist! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

We visited here on our second trip to Portugal (last was 2012) my partner couldn't wait to go back and have the mackerel he remembered to be so nice, unfortunately they did not have any so he had the Portugese fillet steak which is always fantastic! We also took a chance to dine here again while on out trip and... More

I had meat kebab and twice the meat was undercooked! Raw port & chicken. Was replaced without any drama but the second failed attempt left me feeling underwhelmed. Hubby had sword fish which was spot on. Attentive but not pushy service, lovely view, and the house wine (red) was lovely. Expected much better for the price so a disappointment for... More

Always visit here when we come to PDR. Great fresh Portuguese dishes. Fresh fish in abundance. Staff great and helpful with making our decision. The view overlooks the beach and sea. What more could you ask for

We were greeted in a very friendly manner (but not pushy!). Lovely position on the sea front (small private restaurant). I had duck and my husband had lamb, both were good. We enjoyed our meal and the ambiance

From the outside it looks very dark and dull, but when you walk through there is a great terrace with sea view. The seating is very hard and could benefit from cushions. The soul with banana was delicious but very greasy. Also the prawns were ok but greasy too. The service was friendly but sporadic, room for improvements
