Castelnuovo Berardenga is not a fancy place in Tuscany the restaurant is at the main square, it has outside facilities decided to have a dinner after reading very positive reviews, but it was just average price/ quality was not satisfactory wine list is limited (could be more reasonably priced) we were a group of eight people, we ordered different dishes.... This restaurant was worth a return visit. I had a truffled pasta that was both great tasting and a unique experience including the weighing and shaving of the truffle, which was the size of my fist, at the table. Service is top notch and affable. Highly recommended.

We went as a referral from our lovely hotel Villa Curina and it was DELICIOUS! The place is small so reservations are a must and BOOK EARLY in the day. The staff is so gracious and the food wonderful! You really can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu. They are mainly using local and seasonal ingredients... More

Lovely atmosphere on a typical Italian square. Very good food and wine and friendly service.. Complimentary glass of wine and good home made bread added to the experience.

It's been almost 3 weeks since we were there so I cannot remember specific dishes. Nice ambiance in a small, quiet piazza in the center of town. I think 5 of us all got appetizers and pastas as well as wine and prosecco and the total bill for 5 of us was only around $100, very reasonably priced. Very good... More

It's a great spot, one of a kind. Take the risotto and trust the staff with the choice of wine. You won't regret it

The ambience, service and food were perfect. We were made to feel welcome and valued immediately, beginning with a complimentary glass of wine from the region along with a delicious melon and prosciutto palate teaser. The wait staff were helpful with suggestions and our table of five sampled several of each-antipasti, primi and secondi, all with great satisfaction. They even... More

When it first opened it was acceptable, one notch above mediocrity with an eye for innovative cooking. And then just constant deterioration! totally unprofessional and unattentive service; some waiters hardly know the difference between white and red wines! Low quality meats. Pasta almost unedible floating in masses of improbable sauces and, finally much too overpriced

Located on the main piazza of Castelnuovo Berardenga, this restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and excellent food. The owners are charming and very hospitable, Tommaso is a great cook and this is our preferred restaurant to take our friends for a really enjoyable night out.

Delightful Locanda, with a young professional chef/owner who cooks like a dream. Just what you hope to find when you are in Italy. We ate here twice and will certainly return. Everything we ate was lovely, the pasta, the fish, the lamb, the pork, the desserts, the home made breads, we loved if all. This is Michelin style cooking at a... More
