Very good

Very homey and local restaurant. The communication in English was not the greatest, but we managed. We shared wonderful porcini salad, a nice pasta and some meat. Very Chiantese!

You walk in through a little grocery / convenience store. Sit down to an unpretentious, authentic experience. Nice and comfortable, good food, doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. Good service. Truly enjoyable experience.

A group of friends gathered at this family run restaurant for a late night meal. Nice ambiance, cheerful and clean. We ordered many plates to share, a carafe of wine and sparkling water. Tasty appetizers, fresh pasta dishes and a sliced grilled beef. A delicious meal on a cold autumn night. A genuine Italian experience.

If you have asthma or have any issues for strong second hand smoke, please avoid this restaurant. After reading reviews and after a recommendation from the hotel we stayed at, I went here for dinner.

The pasta was okay, but all the second course dishes were very bad - very small, not tasty, and with a lot of oil everywhere. We were 4 people and everyone felt bad afterwards. The duck was really bad. We waited 25 minutes between the first and second courses. The place is very small and since they filled the whole... More

What a lovely local restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic. A family run business that stays true to it's roots. Can highly recommend the duck. My husband had the duck and was raving about it for days. Said it was one of the best he had ever had. A great wine selection too and reasonable prices. If you are... More

Very authentic place, that's what is Italy all about, simplicity, not cushioned chairs with arm rests and over designed foodporn. Very authentic and tasty dishes, wines were reasonably priced as well.

I've been coming back here since 2007 and it never fails to please. The truffle pasta actually has real truffle shavings for the price of a mediocre chicken dish you'd get in the U.S. The regional meat dishes are all excellent (the rabbit is always a solid choice) and the service is always nice. On the right night, you will... More

We almost passed it by and wondered was it worth going in. But indeed it was - as much for the ambiance as for the food. Typical cucina povera where the taste of the ingredients comes to the fore with no frills. Friendly, if somewhat slow service but on holiday who's in a hurry. An uncomplicated wine list - house...
