We got exactly what we wanted. We were looking for a light lunch and they suggested the tasting starter for 2 people at 15 Euros - delicious, with a glass or two of their own wine, A cantina is a winery so they only sell their own wines. It was OK, nothing special, good plonk. There are photos of the... More

We asked for menu for lunch, the waiter said they had no menu, instead he suggested a big plate of antipasto for 2. This was indeed a big portion for 2, but it was cold, not tasty at all with cous cous tasting even old. We ate somethingof that food unwillingly, paid their bill and left unhappy. We would naturally... More

Just back from a week long trip with family to Sicily. Traveled all around the island. Happened to go to this place by chance and it was my best meal in Sicily. Limited choice but very delicious and authentic. Grilled vegetable antipasti plus Sardines for main course. Would definitely go back and highly recommend it. Not sure why not everyone... More

We wished we hadn't eaten here - it felt like a tourist trap and the menu was incredibly limited and the food poor. I had a potato salad that tasted old and veal that was tough. Beautiful location, but really I wouldn't recommend it for a meal.

We had a very good experience here. All we had to eat was a mixture of typical Sicilian antipasti, which were all delicious. Service was excellent and we sampled some excellent wine from the Modica family winery. We even met the charming owner Allesandro and we were treated to a visit to the fascinating museum.

In a wonderful location, this great little place has a limited menu but everything we had (we ate there twice) was brilliant. The carpaccio of swordfish and tuna was fantastic, service was good and prices reasonable for the quality. As an extra bonus we were given tickets to the museum upstairs (a small private collection relating to Noto) a surprising... More

We ate here the night before out friend's wedding. Limited menu with good antipasta and poor dessert. The female staff member was friendly and helpful. The wine waiter was dreadful Forgot our order twice. The location is stunning and the museum is interesting. My husband loved the motoguzzi.

The best thing of the restaurant is the street where it' located, that is really charming. The internal part of the restaurant is nice ( there is also a small private museum, but we didn't visit it), but the food is not special at all. We ordered the mixed plate of appetisers and it was just so,so ( the cous-... More

This is a strange complaint from a person who really likes to eat tomatoes, but when I ordered a tomato salad and grilled swordfish the waiter did not inform me that the fish was also served with the same thing! I had a least a half kilo of them between the two dishes. Perhaps, the staff is not so experienced... More
