Good value and popular with locals

On arrival the staff outnumbered the diners but the restaurant soon got really busy. The decor was simple and rustic. We asked for prosecco but they didn't have it so we had a carafe of house wine which was drinkable. To start we had the mixed antipasti which was a tasty selection, and huge. Then... read more

Even though the restaurant was full, the service was very quick and our waitress very kind. Sadly our food wasn't great and not as fresh as we expected. Overall below the average.

This is a restaurant that is large and lively with many families. When in Sicily near the coast I recommend eating seafood. Steak is not a local product, and you are likely to be disapointed. My friends had the swordfish, and the mixed fried fish dish and liked it a lot. I had pasta with sea urchin (seasonal). really tastes... More

This restaurant was recommended by locals. It is a bit hard to find, as the entrance is from a patio, but there are signs at the corner of Via Ducezio that will show you the way. It is a simple, 'no frills' trattoria, so if you are after silver service, you are in the wrong place. We have found waiters... More

My wife and I both ordered the mixed grill. Two of the meats were very poor, and the lamb was quite inedible. The service was also very off-hand. Avoid.

This restaurant is not designed for tourists. Locals sent us and it is not that easy to find because it is not on a major street. It is an unassuming and very reasonably priced restaurant with an good menu and excellent selection of pasta. Everything we had--especially the pasta with clams--was wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful. This si... More

The Sicilian starters were a delight in itself! I was not lucky with my second plate (fish pasta, too fishy!) but it was more personal taste than the plate itself which was a typical Sicilian dish with fish, pistachio and orange. The waiter noticed right away, cancelled the dish from the bill, offered to bring me a different one and... More

Came here with my husband's coworkers and their families. Although this place was crowded when we arrived and we had a set menu, everything about this experience was excellent; from the service, to the food, and the location. It was perfect and the price was more than reasonable given the portion size! We will definitely be back!!!

A real disappointment in one of the best beautiful Sicily cities! A listless management where dishes are poor quality as for ingredients and presentation . No more to add , luckily ,only the prices are satisfactory but what about a remember???

Don't go there if you are looking for a romantic place, this is a busy restaurant well frequented by local people and can be rather noisy, but this is the charm of this trattoria. The food is not Michelin star, but very good nonetheless and I think the best value for money in town. If you like some local colours... More
