We arrived late in Noto with our 3 children, hungry and looking for a nice restaurant to have lunch. All restaurants were closed or closing down, people unwilling to serve lunch anymore…until we discovered Meliora…The owner welcomed us friendly and offered us a table. If that wasn't enough, the food was just superb. We've been offered finger food, waiting for... More

Both the food and the service were great. My Italian husband liked it a lot as well! We had a wonderful selection of typical Sicilian antipasti and excellent fish. The dessert prepared of home-made ricotta was also very delicious! The owner is very nice and the atmosphere is agreeable. This restaurant is really worth a visit!

This is a relative newcomer to the restaurant scene in Noto and it is a welcome addition to the list. The staff was very friendly and the food was fresh (good antipasti, nice ricotta dessert) and the local wines on the list accompanied the meal beautifully.

Really liked this restaurant. We were the only diners in the whole place for lunch - which we found incredible, as the food was really excellent and its a lovely place with a lot of character. The wine too was great. The front of house was really very friendly and knew his stuff. Just really liked this place and would... More

We searched on Tripadvisor for a good place to eat lunch in Noto. While asking for directions, we were told to walk uphill and navigate some stairs. Luckily there was a sign for the restaurant on the corner of the street when we got there because it is tucked into a small side alley and would have been hard to... More

It is easy to eat badly in Noto if you go into the first place you see. Instead climb the hill and go to this place. It is simply a simple good restaurant. Clean, clear flavours, a nice choice but not too much and a host who can guide and help in a friendly way. We loved the anitpasti especially,... More

We ate in the restaurant on Sunday, 7.4.13. It's a little bit hidden, but it's really worth to go there. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We ate about 8 different plates of antipasta and as a second plate squid with fennel, which was awesome. Don't miss it!

I recently had dinner in Notos best restaurant „Meliora”, and I would say it was one of the top restaurants of all my lifetime, and I really like to eat well! Very warm welcome, topclass service, great wines, and all the food was „out of this world”. We had a lovely chat with the charming owner, and I also was... More
