Good dinner

Interior design - nice modern but in old hall. Service - ok Food - we had Tuna pices on a toast, mixed antipasti and eggplant eith parmesan as a starter. Main course: pasta Norma, tuna steak and sword fish rolls. The sword fish rolls were amazing. I mean all was good but the rolls were something... read more

We had read good reviews but we were disappointed! The food was no nicer than many other places and it was smaller serve. The waiters were quite unfriendly and the dinning room was not particularly nice.

We really enjoyed the food and the wine but no thanks to the waiters. No details were given on the dishes even if we asked (in Italian or English), food was almost thrown at us, no coordination - so for 4 people we got the first 3 dishes and then the 4th came, mixing some dishes from other tables, strange...

We went here on the recommendation of our hosts and were pleased with the evening; The service right from the start was excellent but make sure you have some ability to speak Italian as there is little english here(not that its their fault)The wine list is very good and the food was excellent; The restaurant turned people away so make... Having heard great things about this place I was glad to visit, but ultimately disappointed. The good: an amazing aubergine 'arancino' which was a must-eat, and macca di fave, a fava bean purée, great wine. The bad: both our main courses...boney rabbit, lacking flavour or thoughtful seasoning and swordfish which was so incredibly over salted that it was almost rendered... More

We truly wanted to love this restaurant but it turned out to disappoint. The pasta dishes were great. My lamb entrée was overcooked and when I pointed it out to them they took the dish to later return with a pice of meat that was even more cooked. We did have a failure to communicate, but I must ask what... More

We were blown away by the excellent lunch we had at crocifisso. The menu offered Sicilian classics using fresh ingredients presented in a modern way. Highlights included the pasta con le sarde, the macca beans appetizer, the filet of crusted tuna and the cannoli. There's so much more we wanted to try. Some people mentioned the poor service - our... More

You Will be surprised to discover this nice and cool restaurant in Noto Alta off the beaten track... And even more to eat delicious contemporary Sicilian food. A good balance between tradition and reinvention.. I loved my pane, panelle and gambero and caserecce alla palermitana.. The price is not cheap but fair for what you get.

The restaurant is far from the Main Street and touristic area, which is a plus. If you walk there be ready to ... climb a while. But it help to feel more hungry :-) The look is fresh, probably recently refurbished. They've given us a table close to the kitchen: not negative, because there you can feel less the noise... More

Visited this restaurant for lunch. Menu is varied and rabbit is very good, so is the pasta. The restaurant is nicely decorated and service is good. The restaurant is located within a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Noto, which can be tiring during the Summer months, but worth the walk.
