Good location for peoples watching if you can sit outside and your bottom doesn't go numb. I can honestly say that those were the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat. Oh and by the way the drinks there are a third more expensive and smaller than any other bar on the same street

I went to this cafe with such high expectations and left disappointed. I was hoping for exciting ice cream flavors like basil and orange salad I had read they have. It turns out those are seasonal and right now they have others, not so interesting. Mulberry was the biggest disappointment, lemon with saffron was ok-ish. Besides, they serve it in... More

We read that this place had great granita, and it does. Beware that the coffee granita packs a major caffeine punch. I am not usually a fruit person in things like ice cream, but I was pleasantly surprised by the mulberry. It was really good. The almond here was also excellent.

This is the place to enjoy granita. If you are lactose intolerant like me, it is bliss! The lemon and blueberry flavours were delectable. The café’s range of offerings, however, extends well beyond granite and ice-creams and, if what we sampled was representative, the quality is high. The only slight sting in the tale was the 22% added for service,... More

The place may be touristy, but offers great quality pastries and ice cream nonetheless. I liked campari and blood Orange sorbet, aria di levante was interesting as I never before tasted ice cream with curry (combined with plum sorbet), but the cassatina proved to be a real stunner. Pistacchio marzipan beats the regular kind 10 times, and I was quite... More

We stopped for ice cream as the cafe was recommended in our guide book as selling amazing ice cream (novel flavours) and excellent dessert. We had four flavours, of varying helping sizes. Two were good; two were mediocre. I expected more and was disappointed. I have been sampling quite a lot of ice cream in Sicily. This place did not... More

Hands down the best granita I've had & as my girlfriend will attest I stop for granita a lot! They sell sets of three which I'd recommend. Their cafe freddo was also superb- rich thick & chocolaty. Beautiful interior. If I was staying in Noto I'd come here daily.

Coffee was not up to much and the ice cream could not possibly be regarded as 'the best in the world'. A 20% charge for service to sit out front watching hordes of tourists stream by? Service was good so not sure why people say otherwise. But much preferred the cafe round the corner away from this grim circus of... More
