3 types of cannoli

it was just too early for ice cream but the coffee and cannoli were delicious. Regretted not returning for ice cream so will have to return...lovely street for people watching even in December. Didn't like having 22% service added when we were just there for coffee and cake.

Overpriced and unfriendly. Get a much better selection and more cheerful service in Catania or Siracusa. Don't bother with this joint.

A central cafe with the all the right ingredients. One to stop at and watch the world stroll past. Good service and a straightforward style.

The most famous places for gelato in Noto are Caffe Sicilia and Dolceria Costanzo, which is nearby (and was closed for vacation when I visited). I tried four scoops at Caffe Sicilia. All were spectacular, with hints of spices like saffron, nutmeg and ginger. For instance, the almond gelato had a touch of cinnamon -- just enough to add pizzazz... More

We journeyed to Noto partly for a family-run gelateria said to be the best in all of Italy. Well, that gelateria was closed for "ferie" (feast days). So we ended up here, because they had flavors we'd never tried. The cedro (cedar) tasted like furniture polish to me, but our friend liked it. The basilico (basil) was true to its... More

We’ve been to Noto on August 2015 and we visited Caffe Sicilia almost every day. The coffee and food (cornette, brioche, granita ) were delicious. And Rosario the headwaiter was fascinating! He was taking care of all tables without any mistake and was looking like he can rule the world with that discipline and self-respect. So Thanks Rosairo !! (not... More

Elegant atmosphere with pastries galore. Unusual Sicilian pastries, too. Good service. And right in the middle of the main drag, where there are other great things to see, especially the lighted-up marble structures!

After having read the Lonely Planet guide my partner and I decided to drive to Noto for granite here. We had a sampler consisting of lemon, mulberry and capucinno granite for €5 plus tax. The flavours were intense and the crushed ice had a very fine and smooth texture. We were glad to have enjoyed the granite.

If you want authentic Italian gelati or dolci with a superb coffee, look no further. Quite simply, everything you would expect from an Italian pasticceria - imaginative and divine pastries, superb ice creams, and coffee to die for. Sit outside, watch the people go by, and enjoy !

Reading the Lonely Planet this was where we decided to have ice cream. The ice cream bowl we ordered was good but certainly not significantly better than elsewhere. Moreover, the portion size was too small compared to the price (around 5,5 euro for 4 tiny scoops including service costs) you have to pay for it. Probably because it is located... More
