A real gem

We found this lovely little trattoria at the end of two weeks in Sicily which is just as well as we probably would have come here every other day. As it was we ate here twice and both times it was lovely. We shared a huge bowl of mussels, clams and shrimp to start on both occasions and it was... read more

Superb raw fish antipasti, very yummy fish main dishes. Unfortunately the choice for non fish fans was very limited but want they offered was very good. The staff was nice and the cook really good fun! Very unique atmosphere.

I love this place for lunch sitting out on the terrace. Although I only live a few kms away, albeit in a city, when I come here I feel on holiday. I love the closeness of the sea with its colors, its pungent smell and the sound of the sea lapping against the rocks. I also feel comfortable in the... More

This Italian Restaurant was a big disappointment. The food were good, We started with a Brushetta with tuna and tomatomix and ended with a pasta (Gamba, fish, eggplant, squash). The environment was US shabby chic and were really nice. The restaurant would received 5 point unless the long time from order to the food was served. It took more than... More

The nice thing when you walk in this restaurant is to find young people in the kitchen and the waitresses also are pretty young too. The kitchen is the smallest I have ever seen in a restaurant, but they move like they are dancing, never hear anyone shouting, incredible. The terrace is nice close to the sea, maybe the table... If you're looking for a back-slapping tourist trap, don't bother. Perhaps these people don't open up first time, but if, like me, you go there more than once, they'll recognise you and warm to you. They take their food seriously and creatively, and it's so beautifully dished up, I always take a number of photographs, ending, to her embarrassed amusement,... More
