Located on the main square of historic center with outstanding outdoor seating this is perfect place for romantic dinner. Staff is very attentive, professionally clothed and behaved. Food is exceptional. We have visited the restaurant twice and tasted some of local dishes as Fregula etc. We were very satisfied. Very nice place to go for dinner in warm Sardinia summer... More

We found this resturant by chance and were glad that we did. The food and wines are of the highest quality but not overly expensive. The service is somewhat cool but we live in Germany so we're used to that. We sat at a table outside on a warm evening, ate fish, meat, and salad, and enjoyed ourselves enormously. I... More

Small village in the middle of nowhere but it was the best restaurant in Sardinia and one of the best in all.... Pasta with lobster at 13 EUR or something contained a half of real fresh tasty lobster! and the taste, the service and all was superb. The entry - the mix of 5 or so fish/seafood dishes was also... First the good: It's a beautiful place in the piazza, with singing coming from the church. The starters were good, but the pizza a bit below average. Now the service: We waited 10 minutes for a menu, so we went and got them ourselves as neither of the waiters seemed to notice us. It then began raining a bit and... More

We discovered this place by chance, while walking in Iglesias. This place is proof that taking chances is worth it. It is a really nice place with outdoor tables in a Piazza, quiet and charming and the food here was so good I could not believe it. I highly recommend trying the shrimp grilled or with cognac cream. Their appetizers... More

A lovely restaurant on the same square as the town hall and cathedral. More sophisticated than the other restaurants we used but the food was very tasty and beautifully served.

We chose seafood anti pasti for 2 and ended up with 8 different and delightful cold dishes. Enough really for a meal in itself. The main course was superb (mushroom risotto), generous portions and served with perfect timing, not too fast or slow. Service was attentive. Restaurant is in the old town, well laid out & perfect for a relaxing... More

The restaurant scene in old town (centro storico) of Iglesias is somewhat lacking. Villa di Chiesa is among the best ones I visited. They serve good pizza with a long list of pizzas to select from and also "regular" Italian food, ie. not just a pizzeria. I really liked the Bresaola with lemon and cheese (pecorino?) on the antipasti -section.... More

I spent a couple of hours in Iglesias on a business trip and I was taken to this excellent restaurant. We had two wonderful pasta dishes ( caserecce with wild asparagus and baby clams and green tagliatelle with artichokes and guanciale), tagliata with rucola and first class frittura di pesce. It was all washed down with lots of good red... More

we enjoyed a simple but plaisant dinner with very good food. The waiters spoke French and English (which was rare). It was fun to see the kitchen. Pastas and meat were excellent. Only the desert was not good. And the plaza is very nice with many small streets to walk in.
