Looking at all the reviews i think we got unlucky... Service was bad, very very slow, we waited 1 hr for the appetizers, nothing special. Another 30 min later we got our pasta dishes, tasty but not as special to deserve another visit. The owner recommended us a great wine and probably thatwas the highlight of the experience. Special mention... More

So here's the thing: there are two truly great restaurants right in Otranto for dinner. After six summers there, I can tell you that much. Peccato di Vino is one of them, with probably the best wine list in town. (The other is L'Altro Baffo, the fish place up by the Castello Aragonese.) At Peccato di Vino they will accommodate... More

Very nice main course and dessert. Skip the antipasto; they are a rip off. The environment is very nice and the chefs man / waiter is very helpful. /Lasse

Amazing fish dishes and wines. We had an orata al otrantina and scialatelli pasta dishes, they were delicious. One of the best experiences we had in Puglia. I totally recommend.

Highly recommend this restaurant tucked down one of the quieter streets in Otranto. We were welcomed warmly and the man spoke excellent English - we were given complimentary glass of wine to start as well as a small amuse bouche (or whatever the Italian equivalent is!) - tiny rustic pizza, very tasty. Even the bread is not your standard -... More

First thing we observed is that owner is in love with his food and wine. Guest gets best possible treatment. Starter was mind-blowing good, selection of served wines excellent. My wife had tuna for main dish, she likes a little better done bus she got absolutely raw. I ordered beef fillet but I was disappointed. Desert was out of this... More

Situated in a narrow street in historic centre it has an attractive rustic feel inside. But the food is fine dining and delicious. Jovial owner who speaks excellent English and is very helpful and recommended a good wine from the excellent list. Some outside tables in the street (pedestrian area)

Excellent local dishes in a quaint setting. Very small restaurant with impeccable food. We sat in a separate room from the other diners perhaps because of our group of nine. Outside tables on the alleyway are also available. Just off the square from the main church of Otranto.

I've been here with my family and I must admit that the place is very nice and well kept. The service is admirable and make you feel spoiled. Food is really well presented even if for some dishes the expectation goes over the taste. Maybe too garlicish but this might be personal taste. Overall the place worth a dinner

This is a nice small restaurant near the Duomo. It is not cheap but the food is very good and the portions are generous. The food is more like contemporary Italian and thus, a bit more fancy and creative than what you get at a trattoria. The service is good as the waiter/owner is very patient to explain the menu....
