The resto has been adviced by or host of the B&B Mirella. We were very pleased about her recommendation. Probably not the top restaurant but good, fresh and typical cuisine. The antipasta of the house we started with was extremely good and with a lot of varied tastes. Fish, meet, vegetables, cheese,... The pasta's and fish/meat dishes afterwards were also... More

Place was not crowded for a Saturday lunch, and we were well looked after. Very good starters, a gnocchi and pasta dish. Mains of bass (mine) filleted at the table was fresh and cooked perfectly, and beef with rocket and Parmesan (wife) were both very good. Broad wine list, mostly under €20, to suit all tastes and budgets. We had... More

We have visited this restaurant twice in the last week, once with 5 and once with 10 of us. The service was great especially as our Italian is nearly nonexistent. Atmosphere was lovely, food was wonderful. We would really recommend the antipasti.

We accidentally found this place while returning from a brief visit to Alberobelo, during a trip from Lecce to Isernia. We were very well served and found the place quite and confortable (we had our lunch in a wonderful garden). We had a series of appetizers (from the earth, not from the sea), excellent bread and two different pasta selections... More

Really? The last review said "it must have been an off night". My review says "take this place off your list". It was really bad, from the server in a t shirt with body oder, to the fish my wife ordered that smelled even worse than the waiter. Nobody was in the restaurant when we arrived at prime time. You... We must have hit a bad night. The Orechiette con Ripa di Cima was soggy and overcooked. Everything else was lackluster. A chocolate souffle for dessert was served fallen and messy. I really wanted a good feed of favourite Pugliese dishes, and I really wanted to like this place. But It just wasn't up to scratch when we visited.

When looking for a restaurant, any restaurant to feed our hungry family in the area of our summer rental we literally fell upon La Mia Terra. What a find. The food, the location and the staff were just great! After our trip my wife found that it had just been reviewed by the New York Times and they had equally... More
