Visited 3 times over a one-month period, always for dinner. What stood out for me was the consistency of the dishes. They were ALL good, and never a tough piece of meat or a flavourless sauce. Tonight, they had run out of beef and asked if we might enjoy magret de canard (duck breast). That is our favourite, so we... More

Good quality food at a nice restaurant with Friendly staff in the centre of Domfront. Very popular with English people and open when all others are closed. Would eat here again for sure.

First: It was April. This was our only option for dinner in town. Second: we are food people and we sought out (and had) some great food on our trip. However, the enthusiastic reviews on Trip Advisor had our hopes up for this one. It was …. fine. My partner was not feeling well, and just had the salad with... More

Reccommended to us and we were not disappointed good food well presented and served with a smile. The portions were just right and the choice was good for the menu of the day and not overpriced. We were able to park nearby in the old town and explore the beautiful city.

Visiting Domfront for the first time to visit a friend, I enjoyed a wonderful evening meal at this little gem of a restaurant. Efficiently run by a husband and wife team the food and service were fabulous! We chose the set menu and had the crumble Camembert baked with apple and confit onion followed by fish with a delicate sauce... More

We visited here on a Saturday night and weren't disappointed. Food was extremely good, very tasty and reasonable. Can recommend the prawn starter and the fillet of fish, exceptional. Only slight downside is the time you wait to be served, but the food is worth the wait.

Excellent little restaurant in the medieval part of Domfront. Very atmospheric setting and could indeed have been from many years ago. The food was lovely, especially the dessert. For four of us, with 2 bottles of decent wine and a beer/kir to begin with, the bill came to about 160 Euro. For a meal of such high quality, this was... More

We visited the restaurant on three occasions during our stay, for lunch, drinks and dinner. The service and food were excellent on all occasions. We had tartines at lunchtime, which were beautifully cooked and fantastic flavours. Dinner is also highly recommended with lots of choice. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. This was my favourite restaurant during our stay... More

I spent a week near Domfront and decided to try the top three restaurants on Trip Advisor. Unfortunately (or should i say fortunately) the top two listed were closed for the week. I went to this little gem on Monday evening, arrived at 7.30 and by 8.00 they were turning people away. It only seats about 30 people and most... More
