Good grub, nothing too special

Visited on a Monday evening, service good, not overly friendly; locals also eating there. Good salad, bit pricey. Perfect that open on Mondays though

Our evening couldn't be faulted a simple salad for starters followed by a lovely main course of pork with bacon and super veg butternut squash ,broccoli, green beans and baby potatoes .For desert one of the best creme brûlée I have ever had.the waitress was alone... In the heart of the Medieval old town this restaurant offers quality food, good value set menu in a beautiful building. The outside eating space is lovely. Highly recommended. The pace is service is French and food cooked from scratch so enjoy the slow pace and enjoy it. This is not fast food.

Had a lovely meal here the other evening, excellent value we had the 21€menu. It was a Thursday evening and they were quite busy when we arrived and more people arrived. The food was delicious with a good choice. A small intimate restaurant, we will certainly return if in the area and would thoroughly recommend

Unfortunately we decided to eat here too late at lunch time but we did manage to get them to serve us creme brulee which were excellent. Coffee was good too. Nice setting on edge of the square were there was a local get together with eating and dancing taking place.

We ate three dinners here in one week, and each time the food was first-class, the service from the two ladies was very friendly and efficient, and the whole experience was memorable for all the right reasons. Two courses for three of us, with drinks and coffees, for around £40. For me, the most notable things were the tasty chips... More

We've been three times so far and are going to return - in fact they were fully booked today and that says a lot. We've had both the menu du jour and the à la carte and every dish followed the same really high standard. The pastry is particularly fine, and all the ingredients fresh, not overcooked and complement each... More

This restaurant has the advantage over others in Domfront, in so much that it bothers to open on a Sunday and Monday which I, for one appreciate. It has a nice ambience and the food was well presented and very reasonably priced.

Again, we were pleased we had been here. the food was nicely prepared and very good value. The evening would have been nearing perfect, but after the (lovely) meal we were having a quiet chat with our friends and it became clear that the staff wished to go home, but the noisy loading of glasses into the dishwasher etc. A...
