After the excitement of our roadside view of the Tour de France, we were hungry and this restaurant did not disappoint. They had a Tour special of 3 courses for 17€ (see my pics of some of the dishes) - we enjoyed a gazpacho type soup and a mozzarella & tomato salad for starters followed by veal burger and Caesar... We are regular visitors to the summer jazz festival and are normally disappointed by our choice of restaurant - but this is normally a small sleepy town so it's not surprising that they have trouble having even half decent standards when the hordes arrive for jazz. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise and by far the best eating experience we've... More

Comfortable elegant situation but still right in the centre of Marciac. I love there food but it has not changed for the last 3 years

Delightful restaurant with an interesting and varied menu. The dishes are prepared with local produce, well presented and cooked with flair. Despite the frenetic atmosphere of the jazz festival and a very full restaurant and terrace the service held up well and was achieved with a smile. Three very satisfied diners who will definitely return and look forward to a... More

Great restaurant, beautiful building ! Delicious light food which makes a nice change from all the local restaurants that serve duck! I ordered tuna tataki served with a ginger and soy dip and wasabi mousse and a fab desert! The menu indicates where meats, cheeses and vegetables are sourced from which, are mainly from local suppliers. During the jazz they... More

The food is fabulous, beautifully cooked, the menu varied and often has a little English pud or something. The lady who runs it and own it make you very welcome and Victoria the English chef is a gem. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is good. It is not cheap in the evenings but the lunch set menu... More

This lovely restaurant is located on the main square in Marciac. We visited when le Jazz was on so it was very busy with a buzzing atmosphere the menu is small but perfectly formed. We had foie gras ( regional specialty ) Aubergine with goats cheese, a pasta dish with fresh pesto and local vitello tonato. Lovely light local rose... More

We had a wonderful meal. A dinner for four was served promptly despite being very busy with the jazz festival. The grilled swordfish and seared tuna were the best we have ever tasted. The pea-dill-mint cold soup was unique and very delicious. We were very pleased and would highly recommend this resturant to others.

Possibly our expectations were too high when going to this restaurant....after all we are in France and the previous reviews were fantastic. In summary, whilst the food was of a good quality it certainly wasn't memorable or special......menu was limited with quite a few of the dishes listed unavailable.....no duck in the area where this is everywhere!! We had the... More

This restaurant served fantastic food in the most friendly and happy environment. Accommodating larger tables and children all done with ease and humor. It was impossible not to enjoy.
