Plenty of Food For The Price

It's a chain restaurant which serves german food south american style. I had the "logo poorer" which is steak and chips with onions and 2 fried eggs on top ... you won't go hungry! Food was good enough and the waiter checked that the steaks were done to our liking (you order 1/4=rare, 1/2=medium... read more

We arrived at 11PM and found very nice garcons... Good food, still many people having dinner. The wine was excellent.

I couldn't find many places in Calama, so, as this was close to the square, I gave it a try - and liked it! First thing, it has menus in English and Portuguese, something I couldn't find anywhere else in Chile. The prices are very good, the food is very good, service is very good. When it comes for quick-eats,... More

Courtesy-Friendly-great food. Stop by when visiting Chile you won't regret it. Many natural juices and exiting combinations as New at least to me as the Chirimoya juice.

This is my to-go place when on business in Calama. There is a good variety of dishes all well prepared with fresh ingredients. Meats are the house specialty, but salads are very abundant.

The restaurant was nothing special, but probably the only satisfactory in Calama. Food was not exactly cheap, we got Lomo alo Pobre, wanted medium, was well-done, but the waiter exchanged it, no problem. Burger Churasco italiano was perfectly big :)

If you are looking for good pork this is the place. Is not cheap and tend to be overcrowded in the evenings. Service is not so good. Quality of the side orders is poor.

They had a whole pork leg in an transparent oven and the meat was really good (tender and tasty). But the Service is not so good and its expensive compared to the Chilean Cosinerias in the area which also serve really good home cooked food. But for one time its worth the experience, especially if you like pork.

On the main square. Food was just OK with the best being a roast pork roll, unfortunately the chips were soggy. We did spend 3 hours waiting for a bus so useful for WiFi.

The Bavaria Restaurant in Calama has nothing about it that suggests it’s a German restaurant. The menu did have a few items of German food, but most of the items on the menu were NOT German at all. The atmosphere has nothing German about it. The décor is blah Chilean, Walmart type cheapo fixtures, tables and chairs, and the service... More
