Il Nonno is a Classic in Isla Verde that had gone a bit into a slump. But I'm so glad is back and better than ever! It had been almost 2 years since my last time here. New owners and staff have given the place a boost in a smart way: Kept the great dishes that made it famous and... More

Do not come here if you are actually Italian, you will be sorely disappointed. The food was bland, overpriced, and the ambiance was dated.

Great service great food ! Loved the prosciutto spinach salad and the gnocchi on Gorgonzola sauce. They have to work a little on the decor and wine by the glass selection. Thank you Fernando and Frederica for the great service 😘

Visiting PR from NY and we know our Italian meals and specialtirs. I recommend Il Nonno as a very good Italian restaurant, very close to Italian food. Our waitress, Zoey, was courteous, professional, and well mannered. Ask for her. I give Il Nonno two thumbs up. Visit if you're in Isla Verde, PR

I am a parttime resident of Puerto Rico. Every month when I come to Puerto Rico I go to Il Nonno, and during the winter I go once or twice each week!I have never been disappointed! They have the best veal! It is so tender you can cut it with a fork! I have never had anything I didn't like.... More

Ordered Calamari for an apetizer and lobster rvioli. They served an olive oil, black pepper bread dip, but forgot the bread. 10 minutes later I asked if the dip was for the bread, and they answered that it was in the oven, 15 mins. later got the bread. After waiting for the apetizer for 28 minutes, decided to leave and... More

We really enjoyed our dinner here. I liked that the menu noted the items that were a house specialty. I had the gnocchi which was tasty and what I would consider a healthy portion size. It tasted good, I could have eaten more but I was actually full. The restaurant was very quiet when we were there, despite it being... More

Excellent service & tasty food. I had excellent fried calamari followed by linguine in a white clam sauce. Also a fabulous Bombay Sapphire Martini. The restaurant is very popular with tourists and locals alike !!!
