Are all my meals here! The octupus salad, chicken mofongo, breakfast flank steak with rice and means and tostones, chicken wings. I came to puerto rico for puertorican food. I noticed that the hotels served American, Japanese, Italian, but no puertorican!

Absolutely delicious, flavourful Puerto rican cuisine. Restaurant is small, but always busy, which in our travels signals to us 'eat here!' The service was wonderful, both English or Spanish. Cocktail drinks were delicious and the food was amazing! Good mix of American foods such as hambugers, but n array of local mofongos, seafood dishes and local drinks.

Great Authentic Puerto Rican food! The red snapper in garlic sauce was absolutely fantastic. Great friendly service in an authentic atmosphere. I'll be coming back!

Caribbean food with a great taste and a great service. Here you can taste a part of the Caribbean. It fusions Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic so nicely that you can't imagine the difference. Great service!!!

Lunch menu was extremely limited, more American than Puerto Rican cuisine, prices were expensive, paid for a side dish for my fried sweet plaintain, 6 small slices for USD$2.50! It is open for 24 hours, I am wondering whether they changed the menu later in the evening. There are special on the board but it was not displayed outward to... More

Really good food. Puerto Rican food isn't pretty let's face it. so no picture. But man oh man was it good. 1st stop fresh off the plane. Don't spend all your money at the hotel restaurants. They are over priced and not as good.

We stumbled on Don Jose's looking for a different place for dinner. We couldn't find it and chose Don Jose's. This is real PR food just like my partner's mom makes. The bistek with onions and tostones were awesome. Prices and service were great! If you are looking for some foo foo restaurant that charges over the top for the... More

If you are expecting red carpet and chandeliers, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a GREAT meal of typical local foods, this is a it. Fresh OJ, fluffy pancakes, good hot fresh coffee, large portions. Simply good fair and open 24/7

Had breakfast here our first morning in Isla Verde based on reviews here and on Yelp. I'm not sure what the big deal is -- I found the restaurant to be kind of grimy and the service was super slow. Food was really cheap, but nothing special. Maybe the non-breakfast food is much better...?

My husband and I ate here tonight based on trip advisor reviews. It was very good. I had the shrimp mofongo and he had fried chicken with rice and beans. The service was a little slow but the place was hopping with only one waiter. You have to cut the guy some slack. It was a nice authentic Puerto Rican... More
