Tasty Puerto Rican Cuisine and Sangria in Isla Verde

We ate at this restaurant twice during our trip to Puerto Rico. The appetizers were so good, we had to come back! I highly recommend the shrimp risotto egg rolls and the fried Puerto Rican cheese. The first night, the waitress let us try a few of the homemade sangrias and that was fun and helpful... read more

This place serves local dishes (rice and beans, plantain, pork and chicken, etc.). The food is pretty good. The service was weak both times I ate there. I waited a full thirty minutes for the waiter to bring a glass of water and the menu on my first visit. Try to catch someone's eye to come to the table? No... More

My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant and were glad we took a chance. Sangria was great as was the mofungoes. I had the Can Can Pork Chops and they were delicious. Our waitress made some excellent suggestions on the Sangria. Definitely worht a trip here.

We came here based on a friends recommendation and were very happy with everything. The food and service was very good. Had great authentic meals, from apps to dessert.

The coconut Sangria is a must with the passion fruit close behind. Estaphanie was our server who provided excellent advice and recommendations. Donna tried the shrimp mofongo as an appetizer and I had crab fritters. Both very good. Puerto Rican rice accompanied Donna chicken in a creole sauce and I had a two inch thick pork chop in a rum... I visited the restaurant with colleagues that were vacationing in PR. High expectations... Indoors was ok, clean, maybe a little dark for lunch but ok. Service was appropriate and courteous. The food was delivered in accordance with the order. The food was cold and tasteless. We order 3 creole sauce stuffed mofongos. The presentation was nice, the food cold, mofongos... More

Authentic cuisine with a tropical flair! Service was ok but the food was great! Walking distance from the Marriott Courtyard and in the area of shops and convince stores which allows you to pick up items needed for the room--Great spot!

The service was attentive and the food awesome. Beef empanadas, bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with sweet plantains, steak mo'foku all good. Try the sangria!

Me and my girlfriends always treat ourselves to a great dinner the last night we are in town some where. This was the restaurant that was recommended to us and we could not wait to get there. The waitress was very pleasant offering us a champagne sangria, which I HIGHLY recommend. The food was also good. I had the calamari... More

We eat here every year when we come in a day early for our cruise. We are never disappointed. The staff is helpful in helping you choose your selections. Anything we have had is good
