I will make it short since don't have to much time: it is the first restaurant in this city that are up to standars in presentation of food and truly a great attention in service although with one caviat, maybe because last month I had the opportunity to dine at Saison in San Francisco and at Maemo in Oslo. Excellent local restaurant with great attention to details on the service, the menu, the ingredients and the drinks. The food is not for showing off but to delight the customers with uncomplicated and original dishes that are prepared with the finest ingredients - and it shows. Do not expect pretentious staff or overly decorated walls, instead you get excellent spot-on... More

I m originally from that city and after going to visit my family my foodie cousin and uncle invited me to have lunch at this restaurant. Since the moment I came in I saw the nice decor and the well dress personnel. I remember then, that if have been in a few restaurants in Europe that look just like this... More

I had a very long lay over at the airport and decided to get out and grab a decent late lunch. After looking on the internet, I decided on Amaranta. From the moment I walked into the door (without reservation) to the moment I left, they gave impeccable service. The place was completely full, but they got me a lovely... More

Awesome place! The atmosphere is great but nothing compared to the food. It wisely mixes the traditional Mexican ingredients to create an outstanding combination of flavor and tradition. The portions are the perfect size to enjoy them. Remember to leave some space for desserts!

I think it is a world class restaurant with excellent service good eviroment. Only it could have more food options given that it is a mexiquense restaurant it could have more. Food is fine i wouldnt say it is the best I had but the ingredients are all fresh and of excellent quality.

You can feel it is a business managed with care and love. Food is gourmet estado de México cuisine, which chef Pablo Salas has develped from his many trips to small villages and markets and where he has learned from authentic common cooks. This weekend I was there twice in a row. We tried delicious appetizers as huauzontles, Obispo, carpaccio... More
