I had a very long lay over at the airport and decided to get out and grab a decent late lunch. After looking on the internet, I decided on Amaranta. From the moment I walked into the door (without reservation) to the moment I left, they gave impeccable service. The place was completely full, but they got me a lovely... More

Went here for breakfast sometimes and is very good, I love the fresh juice, specially strawberry juice or guayaba juice. All ingredients are fresh, I had cecina and was very good.

Awesome place! The atmosphere is great but nothing compared to the food. It wisely mixes the traditional Mexican ingredients to create an outstanding combination of flavor and tradition. The portions are the perfect size to enjoy them. Remember to leave some space for desserts!

I think it is a world class restaurant with excellent service good eviroment. Only it could have more food options given that it is a mexiquense restaurant it could have more. Food is fine i wouldnt say it is the best I had but the ingredients are all fresh and of excellent quality.

You can feel it is a business managed with care and love. Food is gourmet estado de México cuisine, which chef Pablo Salas has develped from his many trips to small villages and markets and where he has learned from authentic common cooks. This weekend I was there twice in a row. We tried delicious appetizers as huauzontles, Obispo, carpaccio... More

A great Restaurant. I have no idea what we ate as I did not order, but the food that was delivered to our table was devine. Will definitely return with the family. Best is to order food for the table and share around. That way you will experience all the dishes, which is a must. You will not be disappointed... More

I'm a constant traveller to Toluca and Metepec due to business meetings, almost two times per month. Amaranta is surely the best restaurant around, it may be a bit far away from the main industrial and commercial zone (about 15 minutes in car), but it's definitely worth it. The ambience is great for business meals and even couples or groups... More

Very nice decor, excellent food, very good service. We tried the huauzontles, size enough for an entree, not an appetizer as it said on the menu. We had an excellent corn cake, pastel de elote, great rib eye. The only thing I didn’t like was they had several TVs on, which didnt go along with the nice decoration and the... More
