Yummy Carvery

We visited for Sunday lunch, three adults and a child. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a combination of beef, turkey and gammon and vegetables - all cooked to perfection. (My only criticism would be of the sage and onion stuffing which was a bit too dry and crumbly so the texture... read more

Came for a family meal with relatives from S. Wales. Had a good size table to seat 7 adults and a toddler. Plenty of space both in the car park and between the tables. We all chose from the main menu where there is set price for 2 courses or 3 courses. Can't have the carvery veg if you don't... More

We visited the punch bowl inn on Saturday while on a coach trip. I was supporting two adults with learning disabilities. The staff were so helpful and very friendly and made us so welcome. The carvery was one of the best I have ever had. Thank you

Love the carvery here, we are spoilt in Bridgnorth between this place and the Down, like sitting through the alcoves. Usually go for the Saturday lunchtime, they do close about 14:00, don't turn up late and get caught out

As a family we took our father to the punch bowl for a surprise 80th birthday meal, the area which was reserved for our party was roomy and tables where well presented. The food was great, meat was well cooked and tender and was plentiful from the Carvery. Myself and my family will be returning for sure in the near... More

visited the punchbowl for the first time in approx 44 years!! on 14th april as weather was good. We were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked and by 12.30 the extensive car park was nearly full. We opted for the carvery which was priced at £6.50. There was a choice of beef, cooked to perfection just lightly... More

We visited the punchbowl again for our annual dinner. The service as always was efficient. The starters and mains were excellent when you consider they were catering for around 100 people. The carvery mains were as always the star, good quality and plenty of it. All in all an excellent night.

Very friendly and welcoming, great service from all the staff and the carvery was great quality - all the meat was cooked in the AGA.

A lovely spur of the moment trip for an overnight stay in the Oldbury Suite. The evening meal was delicious and the room we stayed in lovely and clean with separate seating area to the bedroom. The breakfast was lovely too. All of the staff attentive and friendly will certainly be going again.

Visiting this carvery on the recommendation of friends who live locally and who 'know' their food. It they say its good then it's likely to be very good. We visited with family and none of us had been here before. The carvery meal was absolutely delicious and there was not a single bite of food that I didn't enjoy. Lovely... More
