A party of six of us have enjoyed New Year's Day lunch at the Kings Head for quite a few years, and have never been disappointed. Had a table for 4 in the bar where we were roasted by the fire and assaulted by the Christmas tree, jostled by the people behind us and the crowd at the bar. So, busy with a lively atmosphere and pretty good service. I had Duck and it was very good, the others all had belly pork which they all... More

My family and I went for a walk in ironbridge then on to bridgnorth and stumbled upon this pub. from the outside it looks old and full of character, however once inside it is modern, friendly and bubbly. we arrived just before 3pm, and sat on a table opposite the bar, the restaurant and bar areas were both very busy... We had lunch here between Christmas and New Year when tastebuds are jaded and tums too full. But the lovely atmosphere and the good range of items on the menu had us looking forward to our lunch. We were not disappointed. The fire was roaring, and the timber beams of the 17th century building created a nice atmosphere. Service was... More

Myself, my other half and mother had planned to go elsewhere for a quick dinner before heading to a family party. A few places we had been before were closed so gave here a go! Was really busy and they managed to fit us in. We only had one course each, fish and chips, burger and gammon! Was all delicious,... More

Decided upon this pub/restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We tried to book a table but the restaurant was already booked so we turned up at 12.00 pm to get a table in the bar area. We were very lucky as we managed to get the last available table. Service was great and the meal delicious, one of... More

I booked this restaurant after a review in the Saturday "Times" and it came up to all my expectations. The food was perfectly cooked and the service was discreet and efficient.

I don't know why I've never tried this place before. After a morning shopping we stopped here for a fuel break. I had the steak sandwich and my friend had the goats cheese both came with aside salad, we agreed it was such good value for money. The lounge was warm and inviting and the atmosphere was welcoming. I'm going... More

Popped in for lunch. Food was excellent especially the gammon. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in a lovely traditional pub. Recommended.
