I used to enjoy this as a reasonably priced and decent quality meal - but its really gone downhill. Food was mediocre at best - orders mixed up all the way through the meal and a really disinterested set of staff. What a shame. i wont be returning

Slowest service ever and no warning. Were we told how long we'd have to wait, we would have left. Food not too bad, but not worth the wait. Don't think value for money either, two for one is misleading as overpriced in the first place. Would not recommend unless people don't mind sitting 45 mins for food.

One of the better ones in this chain of pubs the food was good, not so keen on the waitress service, not really bothered came across more than once, the barman on the other hand was polite and well turned out, not sure on name but tallish an dark haired! The bars and tables were clean, along with the toilets... More

The staff were rude and unaccomodating and 'forgot' to tell us there would be a 40 minute wait on food and after our less than happy response the waitress decided to be even more rude when we preceded to order. Not a nice experience.

Actually, my review isn't based on the food. It's based entirely on the fact that we turned up, weren't properly shown to a seat, then when a waitress did eventually turn up after sitting there for ten minutes, we were told AFTER she took our order there was a 50 minute wait fir food. So I can't comment on the... More

Just an average pub with equally average food. The service is bad, but some might say this is reflected in the cheap and cheerful price. Not overly clean which is always abit worrying.

Family-friendly place, quite happy taking my baby in his car seat and feeding him at the table, and other children were around until quite late in the evening. Very busy though, appeared under-staffed, but we did not have to wait too long for a table (arrived almost 8pm) and it was kept relatively clean. The food took a while -... More

Having eaten there before we decided to try the new menu. We weren't disappointed as both our meals were of excellent quality and with the 2 for 1 deal we received both main meals for the equivalent of around £7 each which is fabulous value. We couldn't have bought the meat, produce and ingredients that cheaply at the supermarket. Really... More

When the pub restaurant first opened, we we're impressed with the quality of food for the price you paid. Unfortunately the quality of the food has declined drastically. We noticed this on our last visit last year when my 2 years old's chicken was raw and my pasta had been cooked so long it took to the shape of the... More
