We have been here a few times and enjoyed it. However, when the Marina re opened after the fire, we thought we would give that a try as we have also been there previously and not had any problems. We had an awful time there so have gone straight back to the Marsh Harrier. Yesterday evening when we arrived we... More

We eat here once a week and have never had a bad meal and can not believe the bad reviews, Chris the assistant manager is lovely very helpful and works very hard as do all the staff. We went to Hartford Mill last week to try after it re-opening and it was awful, poor service waited 20 mins for a... More

I have previously written a bad review of the Marsh Harrier as their service and food lakced the kind of quality you expect when you are paying for a meal, however recently I have been converted after having a couple of decent meals in this restaurant. Yes, the quality isn't that you'd expect from a gourmet restaurant but that isn't... More

Not the best of furnishings or ambience but the service was good and the staff p!easant and attentive .Depending where you sit could be noisy but big enough to find quieter spots . Trying hard to be all things to all people but needs to revamp furnishings and decode.

Been many times and find it great value for money (particularly like the mixed grill). The service is always friendly and efficient. Great place to eat.

We went to March Harrier after we quede at fayre and square(Hartford Marina) and waited for table for over 30 mins and still not seated ,so decided to leave and give the marsh harrier another try. .Whilst it is not the best of the best, it is good value for money in a very welcoming and attentive way.The food is... After choosing this pub for a family celebration, I looked up reviews and saw they recently wasn't the best. Going there slightly diss interested I was surprised straight away. We was welcomed within seconds and seated just before our drinks were ordered. The food came in about 20/25 minuets and with the pub being very busy this I thought was... More

We have been back to the marsh harrier to give it another try. Still as poor as ever. But we was delighted when the Fryre and Square Hartford opened this Friday 22nd. It is an extra 4 miles to travel but well worth it. No need to go to the Marsh harrier and there poor customer service again. We had... More

I used to enjoy this as a reasonably priced and decent quality meal - but its really gone downhill. Food was mediocre at best - orders mixed up all the way through the meal and a really disinterested set of staff. What a shame. i wont be returning

Slowest service ever and no warning. Were we told how long we'd have to wait, we would have left. Food not too bad, but not worth the wait. Don't think value for money either, two for one is misleading as overpriced in the first place. Would not recommend unless people don't mind sitting 45 mins for food.
