Frequented by locals

Returned after a few years and had good lunch surrounded by Spanish. Chateaubriand for both- superbly cooked and rare as should be. Far too much and compared to U K very reasonable as was wine price.really do not know why we do not go more often.

Not cheap, but the best restaurant you will find in the mar menor area. Beautiful old building with bags of character, attentive and professional staff and great menu choice. We come here every time we are in the area. Its great in the summer when you sit outside and wonderful around Xmas when the inside is decorated. Popular with locals... More

The food is really nice and judging by how busy it gets it's not just me that thinks it's good. It's a big place and they have a lot of functions so do book JB

Had dinner last night and three of our party of four chose one of the fixed menus which includes wine. It looks good value and you do get a lot to eat but the quality is poor. My wife's Sea Bass encroute consisted of a small piece of fish padded out with some large prawns, why we don't know. Had... More

La Casa del Reloj is a beautifully situated restaurant between San Pedro del Pinatar and Pilar de la Horadada in Murcia, Spain. The house itself is stunning an rumour has it that the president of the second republic of Spain died in the house at the turn of the 20th century. Enough of the history lesson. In terms of décor... We liked the look of the building and dropped in just to see what it was! What a find! The restaurant spills out into the courtyards around the building so there should be a spare table if you drop by without reserving. The menu is extensive so we generally opt for one of the taster menus because it's just too... More

This place is wonderful. It is in a beautiful old building with wood panelling. The menu is quite extensive and they do have some set menus. We chose menu 3 which showed a choice of 4 starters , 2 main and 3 dessert together with wine and coffee. All for the price of €35. When the waiter took our order... More

We had dinner and lunch here a couple of times before in previous years and were always satisfied with the food quality. Unfortunately Casa del Reloj did not meet the standards at all this time. I was thinking that they had changed the "Chef", but someone convinced me that this was not the case. We arrived at 21:00 and went... More

Following rave reviews,we recently visited La Casa del Reloj with friends to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. Not impressed,we sat in an empty dining room for 90 minutes, before other diners joined us,the room lacked atmosphere & was not attractive. Other diners were in another large room nearby which was not full & appeared much brighter & superior. Our main dishes which... More
