We walked all the way around the bay looking at all the restaurants and decided on Les Salines at the far end. The views of the bay are lovely and the restaurant interesting and intriguing with a huge fish tank full of lobster and a large strange looking fish which we did see taken out for a customer. The staff... More

The monkfish was very fresh and these guys really know how to prepare fish! All of the local caught fish is clearly marked which I appreciated. We also tried the fideua and it was superb and not overly salty. Definitely give this place a try if you're in town. It's really not that expensive and the value for the quality... More

We ate here on the first night of arriving in L'Estartit as recommended by the couple who we rented our flat from The fish meals we chose were excellent. My wife said it was the best sea bass she has ever eaten and I can recommend the cod Catalan followed by nice deserts and coffee.it was also nice as being the... My family and I have been visiting this restaurant for 5 years during our summer break on the Costa Brava and we are always relieved and delighted that it is still run by the same friendly family and staff, and that the menu remains familiar. This is primarily a fish restaurant but with enough meat dishes to keep a carnivore... More

As always it was a pleasure to eat in this lovely restaurant on the bayside of Estartit with a breathtaking view on the Las Medas isles . This is a truly lovely fish restaurant were they serve the very fresh fish with the smile of the Catalan hospitality. It is visited by the local people more than the tourists. When... More

This is a very nice restaurant facing out onto the bay in Estartit. Estartit does not have very good restaurants around the port so this one stood out. Very good sea fish with the monkfish and cod standing out among our dinner party. We also had excellent white fish to start with which were really delicious. Service was really good... More

Went here in early september 2012 having read the reviews and it was very good. It's in a superb spot overlooking the bay and assuming that the weather is nice it really does have an amazing view. The menu was interesting and varied with some really nice, locally caught (I assume) seafood specials and some regional takes on sapnish classics.... More

I was only once in Les Salines but it was last time... We ordered grilled fish, fish soup and paella. Fish was ok but soup and paella were awful - paella was not fresh - it was warmed up again and had the same awful salty taste as soup - obviously they were strongly flavoured to hide that they are...
