Really busy restaurant and mostly deserved. Good pizzas. Some unusual menu concepts didn't deliver to our taste. Pizza including prices of chicken curry didn't have any curry flavour. Breakfast pasta was a bit weird and ill thought out. Calzone was cold in centre. With all this said we would go back all other items ordered were really good.

Dropped into Ayamonte after crossing over from the Algarve, Portugal, across the splendid suspension bridge. Needed some petrol and some lunch. Ayamonte and Portugal used to be linked by a ferry, but since the bridge was built you probably wouldn't think to go there. On the front overlooking the boats and the estuary we stopped at this restaurant and ate... More

The pizzas are really nice, the other dishes on the menu too, specially the fresh pasta. The service is friendly. A place to repeat....

We visited the restaurant on the 14th August and were surprised to find out that they employ a magician on Thursdays to entertain their guests. He was brilliant at close up magic and had my family very well entertained. The food was good but the rolled steak with goats cheese d honey was amazing.

Good pizzas & pastas / friendly & efficient staff - good value. Can be a bit too noisy and hard to converse at times but generally good.

Last year we got to this spot, and it was so good that we talked about it to a lot of people, and even write a review on this very site. This year, back to Algarve, we cross the Portuguese/Spanish border just to go to the Pasta Gansa again. We had done better o stay at home. The service was... More

We visited La Pasta Ganza on a hot July evening around 8:00. The servers were very attentive and had quite good English though when we did finally ask for the bill it seemed to take quite some time to arrive. For starter I had Crostini a la Siciliana which was quite good though a bit lacking in taste. My main... More

We got there two times already, and probably will be on to a third this year. For people on the Portuguese side of the border in vacations this is a closer Italian experience than the ones on Vila Real de Santo António. All the pizzas and pastas that we tasted are pretty reasonable but the best was clearly the starter,... More

For a change from tapas, chose this Italian. Four diners, three dissatisfied, one happy. Spaghetti carbonara was tasteless, pizza came with mushrooms which looked tinned. Frankly don't bother.

An experience! Service was manic with one guy running around trying to keep everyone happy. We asked if we could order food and received an astonishing NO. Eventually we ordered food and were then told that 2 of the 4 dishes we wanted were in available. In addition the tagliatelle was being replaced by spaghetti. When the food eventually arrived,...
