We stayed in the Narni area and enjoyed visiting the sights and the topping on the cake was the excellent yet inexpensive meal we had here. Everything was absolutely delicious from the appetizers to the desserts and the house wine was very good. Professional and cordial staff and parking available.

We had lunch here yesterday. Service was helpful and friendly, the seasonal ingredients were first class and the food was delicious. Straightforward Umbrian cooking. Highly recommended. One house antipasto is enough for 2. Portions are generous. Other reviewers have praised the tiramisu and we thought it was excellent too.

My husband and I spent four days in the Narni area and enjoyed Trattoria del Cavallino so much that we dined there twice. Excellent dishes and the best Tiramisu I've ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to us as we speak very little Italian. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

In our country a family restaurant usually (but not always) wants to expand. It's a part of our national psyche. It takes a different culture, a different lineage and a different society to support the family restaurant in an out-of-the-way place. That place, thank the great God of 'mangiare', is Italy. Here a family 'Trattoria' means just that; a family... More
