We visited this place on a thursday, fantastic food but the service was very slow. It took a long time before the food arrived and it did not come at the same time.

We were travelling down from Tuscany to Rome and pulled off the main road randomly looking for somewhere for lunch. We found the village of Montoro which appeared to be deserted with not a sole in site. There were signs to the restaurant which we were convinced would be closed. It took some finding and required a bit of a... More

We have visited Il Feudo various times when we are in Italy and every time we have appreciated the quality of the food as well the excellent service - to say nothing of the charm of the location, the ambiance and the view from the terrace - weather permitting. Very creative menus, good local wines, generous antipasto. We recommend this... More

We discovered this place a few years ago and everytime we have gone we have been spoiled. As others have written, you cant drive right up to it, but need to walk down into the old walled town of Montoro. It is a pleasant and easy walk. The best thing about il Feudo, is that they source their food very... More

On our way to Umbria from Rome and we were hungry, so Montoro sounded like nice name and we found this little restaurant in a beautiful setting. The waitress was so welcoming and we had a table looking over a medieval bell tower. The food was very good. The Feudo antipasto was more than sufficient for two people and very... More

Discovering this place at night was magical and fun. I have to admit that getting there was part of the appeal, climbing the little hill and seeing the white dining tables and lamps on a terrace from below and knowing that that was most likely our destination. We opted to dine on the terrace which has a twinkly view of... More

Il Feudo provides its guests the kind of food that keeps us returning to Italy, year after year. We didn’t have much competition for the attention of the family running this tiny restaurant in the equally tiny village of Montoro, on a nearby hill from the ancient town center of Narni – we were the only diners for Saturday lunch...
