Having negotiated the nightmare security queues at Manchester airport and collecting our "in-terminal" car hire that was a bus ride away, we were ready for a lazy lunch en route to Lucca. We happened upon this place by accident, having passed over a place in nearby in the square because 1. it was very hot and 2. no-one came to... More

We attended a drinks reception Bagni di Pisa Hotel and Spa. At 9.30pm 18 of us decided to try this little Osteria. Despite the number of us, the time (not long before closing time) and the lack of notice (we just showed up) we were welcomed warmly and enjoyed a great evening. This family owned and run Osteria was recommended... More

During our stay at Bagni di Pisa Hotel and Spa we ate twice at this delightful little Osteria. We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed two very good evening meals with delightful service. This family owned and run Osteria is just what you hope to find when you are in Italy and it certainly did not disappoint. The lady owner is... More

The lady who runs this establishment was very friendly and the food was a very good standard and not overpriced. The menu was in Italian (no English translations) which presented a little difficulty but the lady in charge, who spoke no English, was able to assist by performing a sort of pantomime. For example she was able to indicate duck... More

We stayed at a wonderful little B&B ( Cribo BedandBreakfast) just a few blocks from this gem of a restaurant. We loved everything about it. The food, the service, the location. It just doesn't get any more authentically Italian than this. Would recommend this restaurant over and over and over again!!!

We stayed in the Spa hotel in the town for 5 nights and visited this restaurant on two occasions. The service each time was friendly and we were assisted by the waitress in translating the menu into English. The food was original and not usual tourist fare, I can particularly recommend the Tagliata con fagioli (Rare steak with cannellini beans).... More

The restaurant doesn't look anything special, but the food is amazing, and the service is exceptional. We had prosseco on arrival and delicious homemade breads. The food was the tastiest I have ever eaten, and all of the diners we talked to agreed. I would love to go back, its worth going to pisa area just to go to this... More

Many correct words haven been chosen for Osteria Pasta Vino. Authentic, intimate, wonderful, personal. We had a range of dishes including pastas (fresh, homemade, unique, delicious), steak (huge, tender, perfectly cooked and the very best I've ever had), lobster (served with a large surrounding platter of wonderful fresh fruit, tender, done exactly right), duck (unique approach, delicious, savory and balanced).... My boyfriend and I stayed in the Spa hotel just opposite this osteria and were delighted to find such a great local restaurant on the doorstep. We loved it so much we went three times in a week! The food is good quality and the extensive wine list had some excellent bottles to choose from. This friendly, unpretentious place is... More
