Affordable

We had twice a small panini lunch at this place. They make some good panini, but prices are high compared with other places in Italy (due to their convenient location). Drinks are not overpriced. Anyway one of the best options for a small lunch in town.

Small bar in Pienza with good coffee and nice panini. Service is good. Fine for a small lunch bite during your visit in this little town.

We found this bar cafe during our stay in Pienza, enjoying a quiet caffe and Vecchia Romagna before bed, sometimes choosing to come here in lieu of a local restaurant digestif! One night after a big lunch out we chose to have simple evening meal which they can offer, and we had no complaints. Don't expect too much and you... More

We stopped here every mornging that we were in nearby San Quirico. They have the very best freshly made sweet roles (Danish/Dolce) and good cappuccino. The donut filled with pastry cream was to to die for. The croissants filled with jam or pastry cream were also exquisite. The cafe opens at 6am, and was perfect for our a stop during... More

Nice service, great coffee and panini. Reasonably priced and well maintained. We had great aperole spritz with complimentary snacks. Covered terrace near the old city. If you try speak Italian, the hostess will treat you as a friend.

Whilst recently visiting Pienza, the hidden gem of Tuscany we stopped at this excellent little restaurant/cafe on a number of occasions, initially for drinks, but these soon developed into some wonderful light lunches. Centrally located, minutes from a small park and the entrance to the old town, this sheltered, but well ventilated restaurant is a delight to stop in and... More

Five of us stopped here for a light lunch having savoured the visual delights of Pienza. We sat outside with a lovely view across the square, and enjoyed pizzas and pasta with coffees. The menu was not extensive, but there was something that appealed to all of us, so that was not an issue. The prices were very reasonable, perhaps... More

Bruschetas are really good. Try the one with truffle, is the best one. If you try to speak italian, they will treat you nice. So try it.
