I had a delicious dinner with my parents and my brother. We arrived quite early, 7pm, so we found a table. Otherwise, it is usually full. You might either reserve or have an early meal. Considering the fact that it is a very small place with only a few tables, there are quite many choices. The food is absolutely amazing.... More

This is a little place - only about six tables - in an alleyway in the centre of pienza. We chose it because the menu was unusual, very wide, and had lots of vegetarian and even several vegan options. The owner, Antonio, is a charming and generous man, a welcoming character. Food is excellent. Try the huge crostoni - long... More

We only had a few hours to spend in lovely Pienza, but our dinner was a clear highlight. This is a tiny place that can only fit about 16 at any one time, but we were lucky to get there just at 7 to secure the only table for 4 (it is one of the few places open all day).... More

Another one of Pienza's restaurants which merits high praise. Very small establishment (so make a reservation) with two people managing everything. Food is great, the staff is friendly and helpful throughout and after the meal. A great place to experience Tuscan hospitality and Tuscan food.

If you want a very local experience - this is your place. You have to wander the tiny narrow side streets to find this place but it is worth it. RESERVATIONS are almost always needed! It has very few tables. A very small restaurant. But worth it! Run by a husband/wife team. He runs the front of the house and... More

Excellent pappardelle with wild boar. Finished off with Zibibbo vino liquoroso. Delicious!! Small place but worth the wait.

I'll never forget this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a shopkeeper near the main square in Pienza. I'm so glad we chose to eat here. Food: excellent. I highly recommend ordering the pici pasta (it's the local pasta style) with the bolognese sauce. We ordered a bunch of different plates, including the mushroom pasta. We passed the plates... More

My boyfriend and I went to Pienza last Thursday for a short trip. We wanted eat something of tipical (Pienza cheese and red wine). We found "La buca di Enea" on TripAdvisor. It's a very nice place: small, clean and welcoming. Even if it's small the place is very quite and silent, so it's possible enjoy the food in a... More
