Very delicious dinner. Fantastic wine. Very friendly owner. I especially recommend the mozzarella Buffala and the pasta Pici. Is open 11.30 - 22.30

This is a cute little place on a side street of Pienza. The food was fresh and good. We had a beautiful salad, pasta fagipoli, and trip Fiorentina. All delicious and they are almost always open.

To try to escape the skilled hands of Antonio e Gabriella. But there is no escaping the great food. Pig's liver with bacon. Papardelle with wild board. Tuscan soup. All spectacular and clearly prepared with love.

This small restaurant is easily overlooked and passed by but please put it on the list when you are looking for great food in Pienza. I was here two years ago and it tool me three days to find it again (should have used tripadvisor...).

We have eaten at La Buca di Enea twice about 3 years ago, and three times in the past week! We find it tiny, (only about 12 seats), and charming. The proprietor is a fun guy and makes good recommendations. One can get a glass of the best wine, not only the house but really great regional wines. My husband... More

Quirky place. Great for a quick lunch. Tasty crostini and good local wine served by the gruff but friendly owner in the tiny dining room. The limoncello and liquorice liqueurs served with coffee were a nice and unexpected touch

Great food in a little hole in the wall. Loved it! Antonio is a wonderful host. Largest portions in Italy.

While in Tuscany our small group has dined in fine dining and eaten in the garden with the most simple meals. Gary's food at La Buca do Enea is always consistantly yummy! Try the wild boar rague... Please, it's superb, as is the mushroom tagliatelle.

Most restaurants in the old city of Pienza are closed on Monday. The few well known spots are booked well in advance. We happened on this little gem by sheer luck. It's only seven two-person tables with a limited menu. It was simply delicious. We had the pickled vegetables, lasagne and two of the savory crepes. The old man serving... More

We ate here twice and had an honest, affordable and good Italian meal. Most of the people sitting here seem to be locals with reservations (which we had as well).
