The plates were very small, not good value for the price (we left hungry). The waitress wasn't polite and understanding. It was the first time for us in Italy that "coperto" (5euro) was added to the bill, and she was very reluctant to explain to us what it meant. Even laughed at us when we mentioned the restaurant we visited... More

We had a wonderful lunch here. The selection of salamis and cheese is outstanding, the bruschetta was fabulous and the pastas even better. The owner was very friendly and even treated us to some grappa. This is cooking with a heart.

After reading all the great reviews of this place, we were expecting a little bit more. The food we had was simple, but good. Positive service, but nothing special.

Enjoyed an interesting choice of local produce in this tiny restaurant at lunchtime - the hams and meats were delicious, as were the pasta dishes - well recommended

Servings are huge. Prices are cheap. Cooking is traditional. Service by the owner was disjointed - the wine came late enough to miss the meal and a salad landed as we finished our third and final courses. No acknowledgment of the lapse. Maybe an off night. The food was okay but having eaten in dozens of 'grandma' styled spots throughout... More

For starters this place is tiny, maybe twelve tables at most. We had to wait just a few minutes and as soon as we were seated we saw people stacking up outside and opting to wait. The food here is Grandma cooking, hearty pasta dishes, large portions, very flavorful and shamelessly traditional. We had a fabulous bean soup, pasta with... More

My wife and I along with her sister and husband had the joy of visiting this beautiful town and stayed in the area for several days. We were given this restaurants recommendation by our local innkeeper and we enjoyed it so much we are there twice. The seating is very small and Antonio, the proprietor welcomes everyone. The food varies... More

Food & service is excellent. Owner is friendly & happy to oblige all requests. Probably the best unpretentious restaurant in the area.
