Was looking for a good local restaurant and this was a great find. This is right in the heart of Pienza. For €34 I had an appetizer - charcuterie platter, an entre - homemade pasta with cinghale, dessert - cheese plate with a choice of marmalades, a glass of wine and coffee. As a foodie, this was a memorable meal.... More

If I had not have to move further the next day, I'd return to this place, while usually I don't go to the same place twice.

An impressive entrance leads to an even more impressive internal ambience. A large restaurant but with different areas which disguise the size so at the tables one gets quite an intimate feeling. The menu was vast and the wine list excellent but on advice we had the house wines both red and white. Unbelievably good for the price. The other... More

Discussed our dinner options with the owner (actually half owner with his father). This restaurant looks very upscale, large interior, bright, and roomy. My wife had the roasted chicken while I took his recommendation for the Suckling Pig with roasted potatoes, which turned out to be excellent. Winde was excellent, even if just the house. Then coffees, Berry Tart and... More

i ran across this restaurant after everything in the town was closed - I was on my way back to Montalcino from a day of visiting Montepulciano. The food was not great and certainly not up to the normal Tuscana standards. I had the tagliatelle with mushrooms. The mushrooms were chewy and soggy. Almost like they were re-consituted dried stock!... More

We'd never been here before in many visits to Pienza (usually head for Luna Di Latte), but glad we eventually made it. Set in an old palazzo, with high arched ceilings, it had a pleasantly busy/bustling feel to it (and obviously popular with locals as well as tourists - book if you want to get in!). Service was very friendly... More

We had a good feeling about this spot when we dropped in late afternoon to make a reservation. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful with an engaging and efficient wait staff. The menu has a wide variety of items - we were told the "house speciality" is suckling pig which was very, very good. The roast chicken was also tasty.... More

It is not like this place was horrible but..... After a wait that we thought might be a bit too long the waiter, who was very friendly told us that they had everything on the menu but two items. We then decided on our meal: 3 of one item and one of another with a size of spinach. The waiting... More
